Historical Claims Question
Got a letter from ebenefits breaking down drill pay I owed for being in the reserves and collecting VA compensation in 2013. The letter in the mail which cam this year is explain Drill Pay (FY 13) Withholdings begin on 01JAN2016 and ends 29JAN2016. That is all fine and dandy. I get understand the law with collecting both so you have to pay one back. VA compensation being the smart choice. I know I had paid back drill pay but couldn't remember if it was 2013 or 2014. A historical claim on ebenefits shows that a claim was submitted on 5/30/2014 and claim closed on 11/19/2014 for Drill Pay (FY13). Status shows complete. Did they take back the FY13 drill pay tw…

Assigned to a rater now what?
My claim's estimated date of completion changed by a few days so I called Peggy to see what's what. I was told my claim was assigned to a rater yesterday and my claim is expected to close by 6/21/16. I have been in prep for decision phase since 4/28, and all that time I thought a rater had already recommended a decision and was just doing the paper work for approval. So I guess since that isn't how it works, how long does it take to completion once it's been assigned to a rater?

Ebenefits
Please excuse my ignorance with this forum. I have spent several hours reading through forums and questions, and haven't seen "my question" yet. If it has been asked and answered I didn't see it. I filed for VA Disability in August of last year. I provided (what I assumed) was ample documentation for each referenced issue (including sleep study tests and results and tests and results from my nerve conduction study). I monitored the Ebenefits sites for any signs of progress. I submitted all request forms (permission to access any and all medical records twice). Last week my status changed to Preparation for Decision. Saturday morning it had changed to Prepar…

"Buddy Statement" Remanded case Columbia S.C.
Board of Appeals remanded case back to RO Columbia South Carolina. via AMC Washington D.C.. VA duty to assist the veteran in developing evidence to support his claim. Veteran was aboard USS Ranger on WES-PAK Cruise 1964, same squadron RVAH-5 that I was assigned with and states the same situation to being deployed off ship to assist in repairing squadron aircraft for mechanical issue. I don't have the veteran name due to confidential issues, however his claim is exactly the same as mine and attached to the same ship as well as squadron. Is there a way to direct my statement to the AMC or RO and inform the veteran of my issue that relates to his claim as well. My …

Preparation For Notification
OK, my claim was at "Preparation For Notification" and then flipped to "Pending Decision Approval" and then almost immediately it switched back to "Preparation For Notification". I know everyone's claim is unique but does anyone have any clue as to how long it might take for ebenefits to show the approval info?

C&P This Morning...Status Changed To Preparation For Decision This Afternoon
I had a very short C&P for three or four contentions this morning and claim status changed to preparation for decision on eBenefits this afternoon. Has anyone experienced a claim moving that fast? I am thinking the results won't be favorable.

hypertension E-Benefits Updated Question
I recently was pulled in for a c&p for 100% TDIU just over a month ago, and my case is at the board in DC and I was informed that I have a docket number when I called to check other day. I am currently 70% combined rating PTSD 50%, Kidneys 30%, Hypertension 10%. My question is today when I logged on to E Benefits. I noticed that under the initial login page under my current Rated Disabilities....that there is a new tab that was not there before titled "Pending Disabilities"...under it is all my disabilities that I have in appeal at the moment. Does this mean they have reached a decision? or does it just mean they are currently looking at or trying to decide case?

Missing Conditions
So the VA completed my claim and increased my compensation. There is one problem, there are many conditions that disappeared from the original claim that are all over my service records. Also received retro, but not nearly what I have calculated. Any ideas? Increased from 20% --> 50%. Many things were rated as non-service connected even though they are clearly indicated in my records and the initial injuries happened on Active Duty. I'm just trying to wrap my head around this all.

ptsd E-Benefits Status
Hello, I am new to the whole claim process and have a few questions. I checked E-Benefits and the partial rated me at 30% for my knee and back injury's, I went to letters and they give me a monthly amount and an effective date. Now, I also had on the claim PTSD and TBI which by doing some reading on this forum I figured would get differed. I am currently waiting for the BBE to arrive are they going to start paying me for my SC injuries or is that when the entire claim is complete. My next question is I have read here that E-Benefits is not always up-to-date...so I see they are waiting on additional documentation from the VA, I have been to all my C & P's is…
