Gwv Moved To Phillipines And Needs Phone Numbers To Change Va Comp Payment Transfers. Did Not Notify Va Prior Or Old Bank Prior Either.
Vet moved to Asia and basically did not know the process to follow with notification to VA Finance department to transfer Comp funds to a new bank. Would appreciate a number to call rather than the call center 1-800-827-1000 number. Thank you. Will forward number to vet if anyone has it handy.

Still Waiting
Hello Had-It, Well I have passed the two year mark and still waiting on a decision. I had congresstional inquiries from both a senator and a congressman and the VA told them both they were waiting on more evidence from me. Shortly after those responses I recieved the letter from Waco requesting info for the third time that I have sent twice already and is in the copy of the C-file the sent to me last year. I was wondering if any one has had any experience with requesting a claim be expidited due to financial hardship, or getteing a decison from Waco VRO. I met with a local Veterans Benefits councelor here in Dallas and he faxed my request for my claim to be expedited …

Claim Moved To Preparation For Notification
Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum, but can someone give me an idea of how long a claim decision takes to be prepared and mailed in the Preparation for Notification phase? Also, is the decision posted on the Ebenefits site, and, if yes, how long does that take after the claim moves into this phase for it to be posted.......and does it contain the same documents that they mail to you? Thanks in advance. NamVetJ

Moving Very Fast
Hey all, my case went from review of evidence to pending decision approval in two days and this is at the Waco Varo. Should I be worried by this rapid movement it seems after two years I am gonna get a negative even though my C+P is on my side.

Thank God Carlie Is Back.
Gee, I never thought I would say that. I am really tired of arguing with my wife, and even the neighbor does not want to argue with me anymore, so, I can argue with Carlie now, like I am supposed to. Welcome Back Carlie

Lejeune Water Victim Speaks Out
"Spina bifida. Asperger's syndrome. Tourette's. Bipolar disorder. Organic brain dysfunction. These are just a few of the diseases William McMurray Jr. suffers from, ailments he says his doctors couldn't explain for the first 20 years of his life -- until they learned of water contamination aboard Camp Lejeune. His is but one story in what many call the greatest case of contamination in U.S. history. A million Marines, sailors and their families drank, bathed, brushed their teeth, cooked, swam and washed their cars, clothes, dishes and pets in bad water at Lejeune for decades."
