Back and Forth
I had multiple claims combined into one. The one claim has been in the system for months. I had it go into "Preperation for Decision" and back into "Pending Decision approval" multiple times yesterday. After work I called my VSO and they let me know that it had been decided, 100% P&T outcome. Hooray right? Check this morning and it is back to "Prep for Decision." Any insight is appreciated.

Dates and more dates? for possible EED
If the VA R.O. Makes errors in your Award letter and also in your EOB about your effective dates more than 3 times with different dates , normally this would be called a flat out error and the veteran could possibly CUE them on these dates but how do they find the correct dates? and also I was told that when VA Makes a TYPO error this will be in the VA Favor and the Vet loses. In other words they have my EED down several times and all different dates so I don't know what the heck to do. who decides what are the correct dates? They have my DATES ALL SCREWED UP AND i AM TOTALLY LOST. My reason I am onto this I was reading my CD Format C-FIL…

Disability that is under control. Still get benefits?
Hello All - Let's say a veteran has a service connected issue for a spinal condition causing pain at 50%. Because of the pain and limited mobility, the veteran develops depression which I assume could be a secondary claim to the first condition that caused it. Veteran gets treated for depression at the VA and put on some anti-depressants that greatly improves their depression. Veteran needs the pills for life likely. Does the veteran still have a disability if treated and under control? Does the rating change because it is under control? I guess this question apply to any condition that is treated. Thank you for your advice.

Infertility Services - IVF
I separated from the military in 2005 and had a vasectomy done in 2008. I'm currently 100% PTD. I've been trying to find info on how to use the VA's infertility services, but the only thing I can come up with is that I need to contact the urologist and schedule an appointment to see if I'm eligible. Does anyone know how this process works?

Retro Pay
For that served, sincere thanks for your service to the greatest Nation, America. I recently applied for Disability, using the DAV back in August 2017, which I applied for several service related injuries, after a few months of being denied on some injuries once said and done I was given a 40% rating. I was also collecting military retirement and of course not meeting the 50% rating my retirement was subject to be given a taxfree percentage. After the VA acknowledged my request for VA disability in August 2017, they sent me a letter stipulating I would be entitled to retro pay from the day my VA claim was submitted, if I calculate the time it would be about 20 mont…

Question About Left Ankle & Lower Back Disability
I am rated at a total of 40% for a Grade 3 left ankle sprain with Bostrum repair and left foot drop due to neuropathy involving the deep peroneal nerve. I am not able to move the ankle, my foot or any of my toes. I know that ankle sprains and foot drop have ratings as separate injuries, so I'm wondering if it would benefit me to try to separate the grouping and ask to have them rated under each of their ICD codes. I was diagnosed with a foot drop while I was in the service as well as chronic ankle sprains to my left ankle, which ended up requiring the Bostrum repair surgery. But, because it was accompanied by the separate deep peroneal nerve injury and foot drop, it didn'…

Claim time frame
Good afternoon all, I am a little confused after talking to a VA rep. on the phone. So,I just signed out on terminal leave and will be officially retired after 21yrs in the Army. I did a BBA claim,I think that's what it's called through my VSO and had all my CP exams done by QTC in May. I called the VA to make sure they received my DD214 and as we were talking the later said that all my C&P exam DBQs are in my file and so is my DD214, but she also said that they wont even start my claim until 01Sept..which is the day iam as I said be retired and also reflected on my DD214. So my question is, why would they sit on my claims until then if they have everything …
