Claims at the Raters
My regional office called to tell me my claim is with the raters since 29th. With the holidays that means 4 days including today. So would I want to be there awhile or fairly quickly with a hardship flagged on my claim? I don't want a rushed denial that I would have to take forever with an appeal. I only had two C&Ps thought and I have another 3 issues claimed can they issue a decision rating my two issues claimed under the hardship and remand other issues? I need all the help I can get I was told I have a few bills going to collection hopefully income tax money will help it I doubt it.

lumbosacral Knees and Back C&P
Hello brothers and sister! I went today for an increase on L Knee (currently 0%), R Knee and Back condition secondary to L knee. The left knee received a 0% rating at first because of the doc not doing the range of motion testing. This time the doc used the "at least as likely as not" and agreed that my Back and R Knee is because of my service connected L Knee. I cant get the C&P notes to transfer so ill type up the important parts on here and please ask questions. What im wondering is what my overall percentage would be. Back Condition: 1. Diagnosed Lumbosacral Strain 2. Range of Motion 0-50 Which should warrant a 20% rating?? 3. Functional L…

Phone C&P Exam
I had a C&P Exam over the phone. It was the first time that happened to me. I have had many of them but none over phone before. I was asked questions and then was told that I might want to make an appointment with my primary care physician to possibly get updated treatment. Can't wait to see her report that she sent to the RO to finish my claim or send it back to the board. Have anyone else had a phone C&P exam before?

Dr. Noted a secondary condition in C&P Exam
Hi Everybody, I hope everyone is having a blessed holiday. I had a C&P exam 6 weeks ago and the QTC office just sent it to the VA. The doctor told me in the exam that my back condition is related to my service. He went on to do another exam and found out that I have pain running down my legs from my lower back condition. My question is if he noted on the exam he sends to the VA as secondary to my lower back condition do I have to do a separate claim for that condition? Thanks for any replies!

C & P Exam
Filed for compensation in April, sent for exam to industrial medical site in early October. Doctor said he'll forward findings to VA and they'll be in touch within 2 weeks. Checked eBenefits and Medical portal almost daily, no updates. Last week I get a phone call to show up at a civilian doctor for an exam. Went couple days ago (mid Dec). Same exact exam/test as the one I took 2 months previous. This is confusing to me. Is this normal? I also contacted the VA and asked for the results of the October test. They said I have to fill out a Freedom of Information Act and ask for an audit, and I'm responsible for all fees. They sure don't make it easy. Any insight would …

5 weeks after C&P exam at QTC
Hi All, I had a C&P exam for multiple conditions at a QTC office and they still have not sent the results to the VA. I have called several times and the last time I called I was told it's in the QA department and they need the Dr to correct some things on it. She went on to say that the Dr that did my exam is on vacation and she wasn't sure when he would be back. Has this every happen to anybody before, and is there anything I can do?

What Do You Make Of This Exam?
Lake Baldwin(Orlando) C&P Exam - Ankles During my ankle C&P exam today, the examiner(PA) stopped typing and asked me to pull his middle finger on his left hand. He stuck out his hand toward me with his middle finger sticking out straight. I just sat there amazed by this and silently stared at him. Next, he said that he'd dislocated his middle finger and needed me to pull it for him. I looked at him like you've got to be joking. He said, "I'm not kidding," and he just sat there staring at me with his finger extended toward me. I said, " I guess I'll have to pull your middle finger then since you appear unable to type in that condi…

I just received a C&P letter
I just received a letter from the VA. It is a compensation and pension appointment scheduling instruction letter. The VA is asking that I make a C&P exam appointment. I have to make the appointment by calling a 1-800 number and leave a message, and they will call me within 24 hours. The issue I am having is I have only one day, this coming Monday to make this phone call. I guess the letter was delayed at the VA, because the letter is dated 18NOV2016, the postmark on the envelope is 22NOV2016 and I just got the letter yesterday. The letter states I must contact the VA by 28NOV2016. I am concerned that I will leave a message and no one will call me, then the VA will cla…

3rd C&P Just For Me!
Howdy All! Been a while since I've posted, but I've been reading, lurking and watching.....oh yes....I've been out there watching.....(that was creepy). Took some great advice and contacted Ted Ebert from the VA, via e-mail about my frustration with 95 medical and psych records belonging to other veterans being contained within my C-File, and that they were cited by the VA's last C&P examiner (held by Veterans Evaluation Service in Houston by a 12 year old nurse practitioner dude with a ponytail and a whopping 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner......ok he may have been 16 years old.....maybe) and the VA's rater (who apparently only knows two funct…

Can someone help explain my potential retro pay situation?
back in 2011 I filed for a plethora of disabilities that i received during my time in the air force as a load master. I was given an 80% rating. One of the claims was for depression an ptsd. However, I missed that c&p appt (i forget everything) and i obviously was not given a rating. However, I was sent a letter that says: "You were denied service connection for depression/anxiety/stress because you did not report for the scheduled exam in order to determine if the current disability began on active duty and to obtain sufficient information for evaluation of the disability. Although there is a record of treatment in service for anxiety/depression/stress…
