tdiu Death While Receiving 100%tdiu (Non-Perm)
If someone is 100% TDIU and passes away due to sc disability, will education benefits be made available to all dependents under Age 26? As it stands now, I pay Obama care for my spouse. Will they be eligible for CHAMPVA? Is suicide excluded? Seems ridiculous to think that these benefits are only available should I kill myself but that looks to be the case.

ptsd When Do They Call Your Employers ?
Hello. I have a claim in for my hearing & mental issues, PTSD, and others. A few months later I also submitted a IU application on the advice of a county Vet Rep. I cant stay employed and can't find jobs, sometimes for years. Well they approved the hearing but deferred the PTSD / mental. Just the other day I found out they contacted three of my last employers with a form 4192 about my mental claims. The VA themselves told me they did this. Since my mental claims are still deferred and they haven't decided if they are service connected yet, I am wondering......... When do they contact past employers? Do they do it ONLY if you have a service connection?…

tdiu Tdiu Voc Rehab Letater And C&p
I applied on 1/29/2015 for IU for my 70% bipolar with a letter from my doctor saying I can't work. I also was found unfeasible for employment by voc rehab and am waiting on the letter from them to submit. I had a c&p on the 13th and looking over the results I'm kind of worried. Occupational and social impairment with occasional decrease in work efficiency and intermittent periods of inability to perform occupational tasks, although generally functioning satisfactory, with normal routine behavior, self-care and conversation. I'm worried that this will not only get me denied but my rating lowered. My question is how much will my doctors opinion and voc rehab de…

Wanting To File For Iu & Ssdi, Dont Know Whicch I Should File First
Hello fellow vets! Back in 2008 I filed for ssdi after having filed my first c&p claim (2007) and was denied the ssdi, I feel due to my first open claim for c&p award came in 2008 for only primary SC condt--10% rating of TBI w/residuals, secondary SC condt--0% for depression, wasnt enuff for ssdi to be awarded to me. In 2009, I appealed both c&p (2008) award and ssdi (2008) denial and I was once again denied ssdi in 2009 for a 2nd time but was awarded an increase in SC Disb & Comp: 2007 Combined rating 10% increased in 2010 to a Combined rating of 80% Primary SC Condt: TBI w/residuals (too many to name) frm 10% to 70% Sec SC Condt: Depression 0% to…

Iu ?
Ok as stated yesterday I'm going to submit claim for IU. First off, last January I received a decision on a claim from couple years ago. MDD was one granted. I don't agree with 30% going by VA psych notes and such.i think 70%. But I have not appealed. Also about 3 years ago I was denied IU At my then 80%. My questions are, can I file for IU on a new claim..? If I'm able to file new claim IU, at the same time I'm asking VA for increase in all my Sc'd disabilities (MDD). So there would be no reason to appeal the MDD.I was thinking increase would be the way to go.? To avoid the long appeal process while asking IU. Hopefully my jib bearish is understandable.. Thanks

Treatment Records: Past & Present
Since my sc combined disability rating is 80%. When applying for TDIU, am I required to furnish copies of my treatment history even when VA Regional office has them in my file as evidence for me being Rated: 80% combined; Primary: 70% TBI w/ head injury residuals (too many to name); Secondary: 30% depression, all of which im beyond convinced has been the leading cause of my inability to find & maintain substantially gainful work in the last 15 years since separating from the service. I also recently started seeing my private mental health counselor again about it all. Thanks!

ptsd Have Tdui But Can It Be Reduced...
I don't know if this is the right forum or not but I have always used the VA for Psychiatrist and always used outside Psychologist even before my claim was decided. Although I did have to stay in their psych ward last year, I have ptsd and bipolar. If I only had PtSD I could stick with the VA has med changes don't need to made often after the cocktail is worked out. But with Bipolar I am a rapid cycler and I cycle about every 6-8 weeks. It takes to long to make appointments, and my last leg of going to someone outside for meds was when I had to call the crisis line. So I want continue to see this outside NP for meds since I can see her every 3 weeks as we try to get this …
