Can hemorrhoids be linked to IBS or GERD
I had listed GERD, IBS, and hemorrhoid has disabilities in my claim. VA decision states that GERD and IBS is clearly evidenced in my private and VA medical records but no evidence in Service Treatment Records. Now, hemorrhoids is listed as evidenced in my Service Treatment Records, but nothing in private or VA records. Because hemorrhoids is found in my service record, how can I establish an link to the private and VA evidences concerning GERD and IBS.

Just had C&P exam
After a year of waiting finally had c&p exam for shoulder impingment, rash on lower legs, and IBS. Had a nexus letter from doctor for shoulder, and IBS and rash were diagnosed by VA. The doctor did not seem to impressed and thought I had way to little testing for these and was shocked I had been diagnosed. Guess I just have to wait and see. The IBS and rash should be presumtive. He said he doesnt make the decision. Whats next? How do I hear whats next? He said I would get a letter, is this true?

ptsd Gulf War undiagnose illnesses and Chronic multisymptoms
Ok maybe I am missing something hear concerning the GW Illnesses. I submitted a claim for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia in 2009 and got denied. VA said it didn't manifest 6 mths after I returned from the gulf or within one year after I retired. Now the information is: VA presumes certain chronic, unexplained symptoms existing for 6 months or more are related to Gulf War service without regard to cause. These "presumptive" illnesses must have appeared during active duty in the Southwest Asia theater of military operations or by December 31, 2016, and be at least 10 percent disabling. These illnesses include: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, a condition of long-te…

GULF WAR STUDY
Anyone else been getting requests for surveys that lead to possible in house test rat medical testing from the VA? 25 YEARS, of the va gathering information and the VA witholding information from desert storm vets and now they want to use us as the test rats for some new medicine they have developed/ I read earlier in the year that the DOD is actually now working with the VA and extra money being appropriated from DOD to VA to study the effects of poison gas on soldiers. The reason is that they believe in coming conflicts there is likely greater chances of chemical weapons being used against NATO forces. I believe the survey and medicine has nothing to…

C & P Notes, seem fishy?
This was noted in one of my C & P's, aren't most if not all of my diagnosed issues he lists associated with GWI? They slid this into my initial claim post-retirement C&P for general medicine. I had plenty of exposure incidences, besides the daily issues we all dealt with living of there...I think they are already covering things up, there is no other reason for this to be there, other than for them to manipulate it at a later date. "The Veteran's diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea, headaches, chronic sinusitis, joint pain, nerve pain, skin condition, muscle pain and irritable bowel syndrome represents conditions with a clear and specific etiology and diagno…

sitting at preparation for decision
I've been sitting at PFD about a week for Gulf war unexplained illness. I've had several MRI which shows white plaque on my brain and increasing. Had my C&P examiner noted as my VA doctor that it is unexplained with headaches. Anyone else experience same MRI and what are my chances on approval?

ptsd Verbally denied GWI
This is what an highly regarded environmental specialist had to say in my medical records. Since then I keep getting told that gulf war illness in not a real diagnosis. What do I do to get my docs to take this seriously? What can I do? We talked about your exposures during your military service including your deployment(s) to Iraq You indicated that you were exposed to Burn pits, chemicals from industrial plant, exposure to organophosphates and unknown chemicals from manufacturing facility and Uranium. You would like to know whether your exposure(s)are related to development, migraines, fatigue, joint pain, PTSD, and DJD. The remainder of this discussion focus…

Am I ready to file?
So last july I filed a notice to file a claim or whatever its called, for IBS, skin rashes, and shoulder impingment. I have been seeing VA doctor which says I have IBS and skin rashes. Have had negative xrays but physical therapy for shoulder impingment in same shoulder as had it in military documents. Have gone to orthopedist and waiting on a letter connecting. Just got a call from perfered choice program to schedule an upper gi. I guess this was a result of gulf war exam. Should I file now or wait for more stuff? It seems like it will be ongoing treatment so why not file now.

Is It Too Late For Me?
I am a USAF Gulf War Vet. Left service in 1992 and went to VA clinic for skin rash medication and stomach issues as I can remember. I had a very serious rash on my feet while in Saudi Arabia and did not go away for years. Also was rushed to Air Force hospital after coming home with stomach issues and had tests but no diagnosis. I stopped going to the Va clinic after only about 3 visits because of work. Just could not keep getting time off. Over the years I thought about checking in with the va but never seemed to have time and when I needed help I would just go to a family doctor. My va card is so old as compared to others that I've seen. I was doing some constructi…

Turned Down For Chronic Fatigue
Hello, everybody. My name is Greg. This is my first post. I'm 28, an was deployed to Iraq/Kuwait in 2005-2006. Shortly after coming home, I started noticing a lot of trouble with funning, and general energy issues. I went to a doctor (I was on active duty, but at a reserve post, so I had Tricare Remote), and I was diagnosed with depression. That didn't fit, because I'm generally happy. I can't really explain why I feel this way, but I have always felt this was a physical issues. Literally, within a span of a week, I went from running a 12-minute two-mile to failing my PT test. Ever since then, I struggled with feeling weak, fatigued, and just not 100%. I also have pai…

You Don't Have Gulf War Illnes
For the past two weeks I have been sick to my stomach, nausea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness, diarrhea, and all over aches and pains. Of course I filed a claim for GWI and of course VA denied my claims but then VA granted my claims based on the fact that I have had the same conditions while I was on active military service. Every six months or so my body shuts down with this stupid viral condition and there are times when I have to be hospitalized until the hospital can get my system back under control. I would not wish this on my worst enemy, yet here I go for another spell and who knows how long it will take for me to get back to my old self and for the horrible cycl…
