Thanks because this is always a very difficult trip for me.I have a hard time leaving the house. I just stay in the hotel room until appeal and then again until time to go to airport. Fortunatly my wife is going with me and that helps alot. Probably won't eat or sleep much until I get back home. My Dr. did say I could hit my meds a little harder while I was gone. Steve

I was originally given 50% for panic attacks with agoraphobia, anxiety and derealisation. I filed for tdiu, a rating increase for panic attacks with agoraphobia, anxiety and a claim for hypertension as secondary to anxiety at the varo. They were denied and I filed an appeal. Thanks Steve

Well I fly to DC tomorrow for my appeal. I guess we will see what happens. It is for an increase in rating and TDIU also for hypertension and panic attacks, agoraphobia and anxiety. Steve

Yea even though I sent all my dependent info in 2007 when I filed appeal and won in 2011, I still had to resubmit dependent info before the would grant it. I guess they figure you might have divorced since then even though we had been married for 40 yrs.. I would refile. Hope this helped shwebb

Ok Some good news. checked back this morning and they raised me from 50% to 70% on the diverticulitis and IBS and I'm guessing the sent the TDIU back to Review. Thanks to Hadit and members for all advice. Steve

It went back to review of evidence today. dangit. I think they are doing a competency review or didn't like what their QTC Dr. said Steve

My case is in appeal at the BVA. I thought he did an exelent eval. He does a lot of federal evaluations also. There is quite a bit of info on the if you google them. Here is there address and phone. Hello I used the Ellis clinic in Oklahoma City if that is not to far to go. You can google them and get their phone and it tells all about them and their qualifications. I think they charged $475.00 Good Luck Steve

Hello Succsess or not ???/ As stated in an earlier post I had surgery for diverticulitis in Oct. 2012. I filed for diverticulitis and IBS as secondary to panic attacks and anxiety. On Ebenefits it went to preparation for notifification today. This is what it said before it went to preparation for notification. Contentions: diverticulitis (New), irritable bowel syndrome (New), This is what it said after it went to preparation for notification today Contentions: diverticulitis (New), irritable bowel syndrome (New), Iu (New) They added the IU. I did not request IU for the diverticulitis and IBS Also for about the last 4 or 5 days the box for Permanent & Total Disability in benefits explorer ahs been checked. It wasn't before. I do have an appeal filed and is at the BVA for IU as secondary to agoraphobia, panic attacks and anxiety. Does this look like they may have given me IU for the Diverticulitis and IBS. Hello meghp0405 The doctor I saw for QTC initials are G. M. in Tulsa The independent Dr. I saw for an IME initaials are Dr. M. S. and he said he did a lot of IME's for Vets for ptsd he is a psychologist and I had another IME done at the Ellis clinic and they are both in OKC Is it any of these. thanks shwebb

Hello I was denied for tdiu and high blood pressure as secondary to panic attacks and anxiety and that has gone to the BVA in DC. I have an attorney handling that. I have also had IBS and diverticulitis for years and had about 18 inches of my colon taken out about 2 months ago and because of all the stomach problems I have had for many years because of the severe anxiety, I have filed it as secondary to my service connected disabilities of agoraphobia. panic attacks, anxiety and derealisation and that is at the varo.
