  1. The reason is says 12/1/12 is because that was the last change in amount ( due to COLA). I was awarded 100 % from 8/24/12 on 4/03/13 , and it said the same thing. Also, I retired from the VA, so I know a little about how it works. Glad you got your 100%. Look for it with-in 2 weeks to hit the bank.
  2. Thanks folks, But without it being rated as 100 perm and total I don't think there are extra benefits.
  3. 100 % went through this morning, I have 2 SC disabilities which require a future exam. Mal-union of shoulder (30%) and DDDof the cervical neck (20%). I just had SC surgery on the neck 2 months ago and am still on convo leave. Which is not factored as the 100 %. Claim filed 4/25/12.
  4. It could have been the exam was inadequate, a missed item on the exam, or further paperwork needing sent. I was rated on 1 issue, in Oct 12, and everything else was re-examined because the examiner did not review my file before giving an opinion. Hopefully it won't take you 4 months to get it fixed.
  5. Congrats. I am also waiting my verification. Rating completed after 2 months waiting. Until it's closed out Eben won't update forms or payments. Hopefully It won't take another 2 months for complettion.
  6. I would not send in duplicate information, it will just confuse the VSR and RVSR. I would sumbit the 21-4138 and state what dates you submitted the earlier evidence. Also, with the evidence showing as closed, not received . The VSR " Veteran Service Rep." probably just closed them instead of marking the correctly as received with the proper date. This fact could also be rectified with the use of the 4138. It's possible if you request that the dates be updated they will do such. Also, I currently have a claim for IBS in with the VA. It is a presumptive, but sometimes they will ask for an etiology ( exact cause). I have a lumbar condition, and one examiner tried to blame it on that. The VA sent me for another C&P examine and this DR did several EMG's to discount the lumbar cause. So, it's possible they could possibly trying to blame it on something else. Hope this helps a little bit, if there are any further questions I'll be more than willing to try and help.
  7. There is a 10 yr time frame, which means if you have been receiving benefits for 10 yrs they can not take away or make it lower except in fraud. 9 I think that is how it works anyway)
  8. Greg, were u 100 % for your DM 1 ? Were you claiming SMC and needed an increase in your other percentages to have the 60% needed plus the 100 % ?
  9. If NPRC/RMC has already sent your SMR's to the VA you may have to request them there. Just clarify in your request exactly what you are needing.
  10. If you haven't noticed the new tool on Ebenefits to " File a VONAPP claim with assisted guidance" I suggest using it. You don't have to finalize the claim, and it shows you your rated disabilities, and what percentages they are. MY IBS claim was deferred, along with the mononeuropathy/ lower radiculopathy bilateral lowers. They did rate a couple other increases, I have not gotten a notification as yet and it still shows using this tool. It's a good thing to check about a month after your exams, especially if your claim is dropped back down from pending decision.
  11. Those are the " tracked items" the VA uses, and the evidence received. With all the work on Ebene they must have patched into the wrong source code. Not to be too personal, but if your 100% is your claim for P&T, or going for extra schedular something.
  12. I would go 70 also, depending on the rater it could possibly be higher. The neglect of appearance and hygiene could be a competency issue later though. Quite possibly if the rater goes 100 % that issue will be broached. A lower GAF is more serious. Although the 100 would be nice for you, stay away from the competency issue.
  13. Don't know. If for a SC disability and the VA issued it ... Then it should be an open and shut cut check.
  14. I have been told that if you have so many symptoms of Fibromyalgia ( that have already been SC) that the VA will group those individual ratings together for 1 rating. IE: headaches @ 10% chronic fatigue @ 20% left knee strain ( joint) 10% right knee surgery residuals 10 % documented neuropathy documented IBS - recently filed a claim not SC yet documented joint pain and stiffness documented memory loss Anyway, the maximum you can be rated for with Fibro is 40 %. And I haven't heard what the rating max is for IBS. The question is, is it likely for the VA to group ratings together ( inferred) so they will not have to give a higher % for individual ratings of the symptoms ? Thank you.
