  1. I feel ya! I myself sent several request to my VARO on my claim just to get their computer generated sorry letters in the mail on top of a Congressional inquiry sorry letter. I cant say it helped but i cant say it hurt and they (Sea) kept sending me request for additional info even thoa i had sent everything except my arms and legs (ebenefits always was a month late on updates). They eventually got to me after 18months. I dont think they would send your claim back. As for your other conditions i'd say get them in now with evidence, thoa you might have a few more QTCs and a few more months to wait, its better then sending them to the back of the line after your original claim. Good Luck
  2. Recieved the Award letter: Claim recieved April 6 2011 80% award (Neck/Back 20%, Ptsd 70%, shoulder 10%,Tittinus 10%) to 100% UI Start date: Nov 2010 (Begining of my treatments @Sea) Dec 2011- start of Cost of Living Adjustment increase I thought they went back to when the initial claim filed myself but, i guess they go back to whenever they started treating you for your conditions. I hope some of this info can help you guys out there still hangin on! Im here for ya!
  3. I just want to thank everyone on hadit for the needed support! I just found out on the document tab on ebenefits that my claim is finished and sent out! I have not recieved my Brown package yet, so i dont know the actual ratings of everything on my claim. My claim was from April '11- Sep 12, 2012 (17months) UI/100% (eff.Dec'11) @seattle Varo :Ptsd/neck/shoulder/back I'll post again once i recieved the letter. Also, i would like to donate to this great site for all the great advice i have read and recieved from everyone, once i recieve the monetary compensations of course. PS. Hang in there everyone! Times are rough and I know it hurts for alot of us! If i were to say, "how long claims take @sea," they can be around 17-20months from what ive gathered. Make sure you got the DAV on yourside as well, they did a great job for me! God Bless!
  4. I caught this on Bergmann&Moore www.vetlawyer.com If you live in the San Fran area and have a claim you want to put out in the air this is your chance. U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) continues her strong advocacy for our Veterans. Rep. Speier holds a public meeting on May 21, 2012, from 1pm to 4pm so she can listen to Veterans’ concerns about claim delays and denials at VA’s Oakland Regional Office. VA agreed to participate. Veterans are invited. Space is limited inside Room 207 at the Veterans War Memorial building in San Francisco. Veterans interested in attending should call Rep. Speier’s San Mateo office at (650) 342-0300 or visit her official website at www.speier.house.gov.
  5. i feel you papa on your sentiment. The VA system is a total Failure and i wish congress would just fire Eric S. and all his "Bonus" collecting Staff. I look at it this way when dealling with the VA, "its like forging a sword," you just gotta keep hammering away at it day after day until you produced the results you want. "There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people, so when we needed them, they could fight the battles that we never could..." -Nick Fury The Avengers 2012
  6. i've been diagnosed In a VA inpatient (@pugetsound) for 3months for PTSD/depression and also a out source Doc had diagnosed me as well for gaf=46. Ptsd/depression all combat with patrol photo documentations. As of today i recieved a call from Peggy as well regarding one of my inquiries about why they needed a second copy of my service treatment records. They told me that it was their mistake and did not need my records again as stated on ebenefits and that my exam had not been scheduled yet with the always "still in gathering evidence" phase script. Thank you for your reply Berta and as always i appreciate good advice from all.
  7. thank you carlie for the advice it is appericiated! Im just trying to be a squeeky wheel to at least get my exam in the books since the VA is always to busy for any of us.
  8. hello my name is george and im new to the forums but have been reading everyones similar stories to mine for over the last year. I recently sent a congressional inquiery to patty murray last week regarding why i havent had a C&P exam for over 13months for my single PTSD claim (april2011) and why the VA has not responded to any of my IRIS inquieries. today ebenfits updated a new topic claim above my unfinished PTSD claim which states type of claim as "Special Correspondence" and has all of the same evidence as my PTSD claim in it. My question is, does this mean they're being inquired by my senator and does this restart my claim wait since it states it as a claim recieved in the very first stage?
