  1. Navy04 - I am only rated 100% for PTSD (previously rated at 70% with 100% TDIU). I am also rated for hypertension, hip issues and my left middle figure. They didn't review any of the physical ratings. I don't have those percentages on me, but they are low. From my initial claim until P and T about 5 years. To be honest I can't explain how it works. About the time I think I have it figured out I find something else. The VA has also proposed incompetentency.
  2. Hello all. I was quickly scheduled/notified of the appointment. Good news today in a White envelope. I was greatly relived due to e-benefits showing a reduction, until the past week when the benefit summary letter changed to a 100 percent. So I was being reviewed for a deduction for my PTSD and received 100% P and T. Boooyaaa! God answers prayers.
  3. an update: good news today in a White envelope. I was greatly relived due to e-benefits showing a reduction until the past week when the benefit summary letter changed to a 100 percent. 4. I have no info why the C and P is happening. The first contact was the voicemail telling me the date and when and where.
  5. Gaston, I like your scenario. You seem very confident with your reply. Im not on the forum often. Can you tell me where your conclusion comes from or can you point me in the right direction? Getting a voice mail today that in 11 days I have my C and P freaked me out. My Psychiatrist put a note that I was P and T in August. But the case opened before that note. And I have a couple of years of med changes, counseling, inpatient stays. Thanks for your help! Semper Fi, Rafe
  6. I am 100% TDIU. rated 80% combined. What do I need to do to keep from being reduced? HELP! Thanks
  7. Thanks for the responses! The note is new to my record. Its the first thing I have seen that was that direct. So I was wondering about P and T...I am going with the advice of several of you guys, not gonna rock the boat for now. Again, thanks!
  8. here is what my Psych. put in a note in my record..says "he is a permanently and totally disabled veteran who suffers from PTSD and Bipolar with psychotic features. Along with extensive treatment for the past several years...would this be enough to win a claim? Is it worth it? Thanks
  9. Thanks everyone! The first try they said it looked like a scanned image so the loan servicer (great lakes) didn't process the forgiveness app (they never responded until I called months later). Once that was resolved it took about 3 months. For anyone trying to do the same. Start with your loan servicer. I may well be on the hook for taxes, I think it is more likely than not.
  10. It took 2 tries, and about 9 months total. Unbelievable they are gone!
