Yes it did go backwards. It was pending decision approval then moved back to prep for decision

Hey everyone, before I start, thank you all in advance for any information and advice that you provide. I can always rely on the veteran community when I am in doubt. Second, I filed an appeal for a right knee secondary to my left knee back in August 2017 after multiple re-opens didn't go in my favor. Here is the timeline of events. Appeal submitted - 8/12/17 Gathering Evidence - 11/17/18 Exam for left and Right knee's - 1/10/19 Pending Decision Approval - 1/14/19 Preparation for Decision - 1/15/19 The main question is. why would my claim go from PDA to PFD in less than 12 hours? Is this a good or bad sign? Any advice would be great.

Hey Everyone, it has been a while since I last wrote on this forum. I have a question around requesting 100% P&T. So here is the gist of the situation that I am in. Last year I was rated 100% after a long drawn out fight with the VA. The reason I finally got to 100% was due to a flare up with my left knee which put me over the top with a future exam in 2020. Today I received a 50% rating for Migraines. My migraine rating went from 30% to 50% with no scheduled exams. After using the disability calculator (to see where I am at) I realized that Even if they downgraded my knee rating to 0% I would still be rated at 100%. I have no scheduled future exams for anything but my knee. Being said, What should I Do? Should I request P&T and do you all think I have a chance of success? If so, how do I go about doing that. Should I go through the DAV?

Hello everyone, I need some guidance from all of you. I had attempted to reopen a claim but the claim was denied because they didn't feel it was new and material evidence to substantiate the reopen. However, given that they didn't reopen it, can I initiate a new claim with the evidence? the reopen claim was for a different disability than the one I would be trying to claim now. I haven't seen any VA law preventing me from doing this unless I am missing something.

Okay, so not sure if anyone else had this problem but back in 2015 the VA withheld my VA compensation for my drill pay adjustment from 2012 which was a hefty some, then December 30, 2016 the VA came back again and withheld by drill pay adjustment from 2012 again. Has anyone else have this same problem where they withheld it twice and if so, what steps did you take to get that money back from the VA?
