  1. The way its worded is tricky. It says do I get Any VA benefits. Which I do. 100% Just nothing for the Left Shoulder which is the OWCP workers comp Injury.
  2. I am currently on OWCP workers comp for a left shoulder injury. Owcp recently sent me paperwork asking if I get VA benefits for the same injury. I do NOT get va benefits for left shoulder. Although I am 100% service connected for Anxiety and depression. Do I have to report this? Or would I only report if my VA benefits were for my Left Shoulder? Thanks again
  3. Looks approved, but waiting for finality of some sort? I guess pending approval is good then?
  4. My Status for my Claim recently moved from preparation for decision, to Pending decision approval. Is this a good thing? Its nice to see the word approval.
  5. Thats what I was thinking. I got a new letter that say Migraines are "more likely than not" exacerbated by anxiety depression. Thank you. I hope this links the Migraines into a service connection.
  6. Quick question Veterans, If i have a letter from my numerologist that states. "Veterans Migraines may be exacerbated by service connected anxiety or Depression." Is this a legitimate nexus link? Thank you in advance.
  7. Thank you Broken Soldier. I have uploaded the Doctors Notes into my Ebenefits...
  8. Hello guys, Quick question, Does a Civilian Doctors Range of Motion findings carry any medical evidence weight in regards to the VA? I am rated at 20% for Spine (loss of forward flexion) However my Spinal Surgeon noted in his recent records that My spine forward flexion was limited to 20%.... This would constitute a higher rating i believe.. Any Advice/help????
  9. The exam was about a month ago... No goniometer used. 10 percent still for each knee. Should this be Bilateral? and increased because both knees are damaged.
  10. Vets, If I received an Inadequate comp and pension exam (no use of goniometer) for my knees and back.... Should I file an appeal? or request that the DRO look at my case? Thanks in advance for any advice
  11. Vets. I am filling out form 21-8940 For my TDIU. In box 18 Did you leave your last job for your disability? I left my job for workers comp which has nothing to do with my service connected disabilities. How should I answer this question? Should I use the same date for my 21-8940 that i used as my last day of work for my workers comp? That was around the time my service connected disabilities worsened.
  12. I agree, slow and steady. Time is the main thing that hurts the most. Time means usually going without income at a certain level. But I remain patient. Thanks.
  13. Ok. Yes I am always truthful and I keep my records very organized because it seems that the agencies get things lost and confused often, so i always have my Medical Evidence ready for them if need be. Thanks
  14. Form 21-8940 for TDIU (Box 20 asks do you receive workers comp? Altho I do yes, Its not for any of my service connected disabilities I guess I still must answer yes on this?) (Box 18 asks Did you leave your last job because of your disability?) I left because I went out on Workers comp. My service connected disabilities became alot worse after that, so im not sure what Date to put for (Box15 what date did you become too disabled to work?) It was back in November when my Depression/Anxiety/OCD became so bad I couldnt leave the house..... I know this is confusing, any input would be great. THX
  15. Garylinn, Did you submit a IMO when you applied for TDIU? or did you just submit a Form 21-8940?
  16. Yes Berta. The OWCP is only temporary, I receive OWCP for a non-service connected injury. I am currently being paid by them as I receive treatments. I dont know how to put my mental C and P exam on here, but the examiner said that my OCD/Depression/Anxiety greatly impacts my ability to work or sustain gainful employment, which it does. Can I get an IMO from my primary care doctor out in town? or should I ask my VA doctor? They keep changing doctors on me at the VA and I currently have a PA, no an MD.
  17. I think I will apply for TDIU. My OCD is relentless even on medication.. So hard to leave the house on certain days. I have been out of work since August on workers comp (not a service connected injury) All the research i have done tells me that I can get TDIU for my service connected disabilities while collecting OWCP workers comp for a different non service connected condition. Do you guys know have any information on this?
  18. Hello Veterans. I just received an increase from 40% to 80%. I put my claim in December 2015. My ratings are as follows: 20%: Lower Back Condition (continued) 70% Major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive personality disorder (ocpd claimed as anxiety, depression, and difficulty sleeping) (secondary to lower back condition) 10% Radiculopathy lower left extremity (secondary to lower back condition) 10% Radiculopathy lower right extremity (secondary to lower back condition) 10% Left knee strain (continued) 10% Right knee strain (continued) I have a few questions I would like to ask. 1st. Should I file for TDIU? Would i qualify? (I have been out of work since August)? I am unable to work due to my medical conditions. 2nd. My Comp and Pen examiner did not use a Goniometer while checking the range of motion for my Spine and Knees. I am very limited in my range of motion. Should I file a inadequate comp and pension exam? I just wanted some input and opinions from you guys if possible. Thank you.
  19. Silver Dollar. He is a contracted employee. I just checked. 7 months doing exams only, and is a Nurse Practicionar
  20. Hi Guys, I wont go into much detail to save time for everyone.... I had a Comp and Pension exam last week and the N.P. that conduted the exam, Completely lied about my Flexion and Extension of my knees. No gonometer was used so I can eventually appeal this fact after what I think will be a denial.. I am 40 percent now and filed for an increase in October. Do I have any other recourse for what happened. He completely fabricated my Range of Motion..... I really am sickened by the fact that this stuff is happening to Vets in 2016, and it seems like there is little we can do about it. Any help would be great. Thanks
  21. I am applying for Social security disability.. Does a letter from a family member documenting the effects the respective disability has on me help my claim???? Do any of you guys have any experience with this? Thanks again for your help
  22. I will gather that information and return to the forum when i have it. Thanks
  23. Any advice for my Dad who was on the USS Intrepid, as Crash crew.. He Worked on the aircraft that flew into Vietnam airspace, and was exposed to Agent Orange. The Gov wont admit this tho. Altho they admit he was exposed to Herbicides. He has had Ichemic heart disease, polymiositis.. Does he just need a Linking Letter? To file a claim that this exposure, "may have caused" his diseases?? Any help would be awesome. Thanks again
