  1. I am a 21 year retired Air Force Vet. I recently started seeking help for PTSD and on Anxiety/Depression. Is it normal procedure for the VA to have you start visiting with a social worker before they actually send you to a psychiatrist to be diagnosed? So far I’ve had 2 visits with the social worker. My VSO rep has already submitted an ITF, are these the correct steps?
  2. Good morning, My question is, “can toe nail fungus be claimed?” All toe nails have discolored, some worse than others
  3. Hello, I have a back pay question to whomever may have the answer or point me in the right direction. I retired and was awarded 20% compensation back in 2011 but wasn't awarded any compensation for Tinnitus, they said it wasn't service connected. But since then I have been increased from 20% to 50% in 2015 and still denied for Tinnitus. But just recently after filing a NOD I was finally awarded my claim for Tinnitus bumping me up to 60%. My question is, "am I entitled for back pay from the original claim dating back to 2011 or 2015? Ebenefits says effective date is 3/30/15. Thanks in advance
  4. Quick question...........Can you claim arthritis for more than one body part. For example right knee and left ankle?
  5. Thanks Navy4life! I heard from several people saying the same thing. Got my fingers crossed lmao
  6. Navy04, I claimed new conditions. I was thinking that was pretty fast too, so time will tell
  7. I have been Service connected on several issues and just recently applied for other service connected issues and I just completed a C&P exam on Monday 18 April. I just went to ebenefits and looked under rated disabilities and noticed that the new issues that I was just seen for on Monday have been added to the previous issues that have been there for years but the percentages weren't changed. Does anyone out there knows if this is a good or bad sign as far as getting and increase in my percentage?

  9. Thanks for all the good advice, we'll see how it plays out and I'll keep you posted
  10. Hello, I recently applied for and increase and went from 20% to 50% but was denied again for Tinnitus. My entire career (21 yrs) I worked around aircraft out on the flight line. Tinnitus hasn't even been SC. I completed my NOD paperwork and submitted it early January and just recently attached a buddy statement to this claim. I even had a letter from an Audiologist when I applied for the initial increase. Any suggestions?
