  1. Good to know. I plan on resigning 30 Sep so until I get a DD214 the VA won't continue to look at my paperwork. I was extended a couple of times so my original out date of 1 January has now turned to 1 October. They closed my pending case, what they had deferred, the end of July, 31 days ago, so I hope I don't have to do all the exams again. Thank you for all the info.
  2. OK, so 100% P&T does not necessarily equal no work. I'm concerned about getting a kid through college. any benefits that assist dependents get through school?
  3. On the subject of 100%. So can you be "permanently and totally disabled" (for Chapter 35) at 100% and still be able to work? While I expect my 90% to be bumped up to 100% once the deferred ailments are approved I feel I can still work. I mean maybe not physical work like when I was younger, but certainly, most of my mind is in tact. I still have to put one kid through school, and I would like to go back to school.
