Open Heart Mitral Valve Repair
Retired MSG posted a question in Entitlement - Veterans Compensation Benefits Claims
I am rated 10%sc for high blood pressure. Two years ago I was diagnosed with a severe mitral valve leak and had to have open heart mitral valve repair. Can I file for disability for the mitral valve repair and the continued shortness of breath etc. My refraction rate is <30. -
Just wondering if I can claim ED as secondary to my service connected blood pressure. The first time I claimed it was denied. Seems it is a result of the meds I take for blood pressure and heart valve repair.
