  5. Looking through my original medical induction papers. Does anyone know what this means "H-2-71" Defective Hearing. I put in a claim and was denied because they said that I had a prexisting Hearing problem before entry. My claim was denied. I was sent to Vietnam and placed with a 105 howitzer BN. Any help would be great. Marinr23
  6. I have had my TDIU now for Twenty years. I thought after this long it becomes a protected from reduction. I have stopped getting the work forms 15 years ago, the only letter I received was back in 2011. That letter stated I could be up for a review, never was a exam scheduled. Now 2019 and Twenty years later is this protected or not? Any input would help me understand this system.
  7. I was with 11th marines 105 how's. I rode shotgun with conveys with a machine gun in my lap. Yes plenty of loud noise
  8. I recently went to the VA for hearing aids. I was denied comp. They said that I had a hearing loss at time I entered the Marine Corps. When I went back to pick up my hearing aids, I took a copy of my induction record of my hearing, I asked the doctor to explain it to me. The first words out of her mouth was, "How did you get through school"! Any suggestions on how to appeal original decision.
