  1. I know this is an old post, but I am going through a similar situation. My current bank information I updated in January 2017 somehow disappeared on ebenefits. My February payment did go into the updated bank. I was told the claim I had that closed on February 2, 2017 may have reset to the old closed account. Usually it posts late the night before and when I noticed that it did not post to my bank account I checked ebenefits and noticed my current bank information was missing. I updated my bank information again the morning of March 1, 2017. I also called the bank where it went to requesting it to be rejected and returned. Payment date: March 1, 2017. Returned to Treasury and VA: March 6, 2017 I am hoping it goes into my account the week of March 13, 2017. I have been calling the VA and Treasury every day since then. I even stopped by the VA Regional Office and they made sure my bank information was correct and thought it was odd of what happened. That was March 3, 2017. They told me that once the pay was returned to the VA it should be a matter of 3-5 business days that it should be redeposited into the correct account. I am hoping very soon as i am a single mom and this is causing my anxiety and depression to go off the scales.
