  1. Long time no see!!!!

  2. I have returned after a long hiatus. Its great to be back here amoung friends and comrades!!! I realley miss interacting with you all here. I hope to get my place here were I left off helping others and continue that. Speaking on that, there have been many ups and downs as many can speculate on my end. I got married. Had a child. Bought a house, then all hell broke lose!!! My daughter passed away from ovarian cancer 2016 and soon after my wife passed away from a heart attack in April of 2020. So things have not been easy. Im just hoping I can find a way to help others so I dont feel suisidal again. Thanks!!!

  3. I put this to my attorney who is out till the 5th of Oct. I have a service-connected knee conditions which results in me being unable to walk for more than a few feet, bend, or do any strenuous physical activity. Im not able to exercise with this condition and must spend most of my days inactive or else I experience severe pain. As a result of my inactivity, I have gained weight and is considered to be obese. My obesity then led to developing diabetes, a condition for which being overweight or obese can put a person at risk of developing. My obesity was the result of a service-connected condition (my r-knee initially, dated 8/28/92), and then it led me to develop a non-service-connected condition (obesity).
  4. What my attorney told me 2 days ago: Hi Erich, We would need to show that your obesity caused functional loss, and is related to your service. In addition, you are currently 100% disabled. While there are pending claims that may result in an earlier effective date for your 100% rating, getting your obesity service connected now will not have any effect on your overall rating or monthly payment. So, if we applied to have your obesity service-connected, it wouldn’t chance your current rating. However, if I can use this case for any of your other claims that might result in an earlier effective date for your permanent and total rating, I certain will.
  5. How can I show that obesity caused a financial loss? Thats what the VA is looking for. I tried 3 times, DENIED.

hope things have got better for ya.

  7. This is a US statute. Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties. See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a "one-party consent" law. Under a one-party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2511
  8. Berta!! I was stationed at Scofield Barracks from 88' - 92'. TCE was in the drinking water confirmred by the EPA, and was cleaned up starting in 1994. I suffer from total blackout, memory loss amoung other things. what should i do as to getting service connected.I know the VA only recognizes Camp Lejeune as the only contaminated military installation, but what am I to do??
  9. Your an Honorary Ranger TBIRD!!!!!! Rangers lead the way!!!!
  10. Berta!! Glad to be back!! My original account was under ranger11bv. I was wondering if I could get that back??? THNX!!

  11. Well its been while since was here. Good and bad news: Good; I got 10% for my tinnitus. The backpay will equate to around $7,392. I hired a civilian attorney and within 3 months my appeal was in front of the BVA IN DC!!! The bad; It wont get to me for another week. Im now completely out of food. Im eating some of the ferret food I have here. I have tried the VA, Salvation Army, among others. I got to within a hairs width a couple of days ago of committing suicide. But as you can see, Im here....
  12. That is true. My mistake. But either way, its good news. Now to see what my attornes says.
  13. Just found out today that my claims just got sent to the BVA here in Phoenix.
  14. How and were can I get ahold of these reports? Also, why is thier a white background on this site????
