Welcome aboard, Marine! Thank you for your service to our nation. You've arrived at the best Veteran help site on the web. One suggestion, tho', you might type your message in something other than all caps as it sounds like you're shouting.

It does sound strange that they are reviewing your claim so quickly, did you get this info from the 800 number? If so, they often mislead us by telling us what we'd like to hear rather than the truth. It will be difficult during the long waiting period but it is the nature of the beast.

You sound like you have some very good things going for you in the Drs. strong diagnosis and that it is documented in your records. You are going about things in the right way by following your claim personally as it works it's way through the system.

Come here often with your questions as the folks here are 100% in your corner and will help any way they can.

"IF MY HEAD DOCTOR (M.D.) WROTE A LETTER IN MY PROGRESS NOTES SAYING THAT IAM 100% DISABLED AND UNEMPLOYABLE WHAT DOES THE VA DO???????????"

With a nexus statement that this is due to your service and with your medical processing board statement-

you are good to the git go for 100% SC.

BUT- did your rep tell you to formally apply for TDIU?

Even without formal application-in your case-

the VA is fully capable of not only giving you a fast decision but a proper one.

You have 80% now so was this for 100% due to the 80%?

I mean is the 80% for PTSD? and this claim was for 100%?

Semper Fi and welcome aboard.

and why did they not give you TDIU when they awarded the 80% -were you emploed then?

yes iam at 70 for ptsd 10 for knees

the increase that we asked for is for ptsd and a list of other things:

-ulnar nueropthy

- increse for knees

- rashes that do not heal

- headaches ----------------

- diareha ---------------- possible chronic fatigue syndrome (or anthrax vac)

- fatigue ---------------

one of my doc wanted to send me to an in patient program for 2 months.

but my wife is pregnant and iam not going far from her and the va knows this.

they also said that i tested positve for tbi

and they just put me for physical therapy for knees.

ps too young vets never let them tell you are too young

ive also been unemployed for 9 months due to my condition

and yes i put in for iu / denied probaly because i was too young but we put a nod

i will not let them win the evidence is here

its funny the va wants you to have evidence and i do.. so why do they still give us a hard time

it just pisses me off.........and they know that....its even in myrecord at the va i got escorted form the er because one of the little boy doctors made my wife cry. i wasnt even in the hospital

but when i seen her crying i ran and try to plow down the er door and demanded to see the doc who did this i was trying to get thourgh them and i was going to smash his face. but security took me outside i didnt get flagged but i would have hurt him. i told the cop that i did care if him or the president made my wife cry i would slap them then i left.....sometimes people just dont know who they are dealing with.......thats why i tell people if you have the ability to think twice before doing something think twice .... i wish i could

"they also said that i tested positve for tbi" is that in your claim too?

"one of my doc wanted to send me to an in patient program for 2 months.

but my wife is pregnant and iam not going far from her and the va knows this"

Not needed for higher PTSD rating- but it often can help a lot- my husband got the first real PTSD therapy he ever had since 1984 from their inhouse PTSD at Buffalo VAMC.A decade later. He was afraid to go into it but then he didnt want to leave the program-

he figured he was in Hell for a year so he needed a year of this program to debrief it all.not just 21 days-

Do you get SSA? if so what for and does VA know that?

It was only 21 day program.
