Can a spouse pick up on a remanded claim if the vet dies before the decision, and could she/he appeal a decision? If my CUE which in on remand takes another 11 years I may not be around to read the final decision, but my wife and lawyer will be probably.

I believe the vet's claim dies w/the vet, however they do allow the spouse to file a claim for the veteran's accrued benefits but I believe they only allow 2 yrs of accrued benefits, as the maximum. Berta probably knows beter than I do.
