If it's been one year since the notification letter for your decision you have missed the appeal window.

Refiling is as easy as writing down what you wish to claim and sending it in to your regional office.

Can you refile a claim because you were giving bad information with your current service rep?

If so what is the process of doing it? What if the timeline has passed since you got a decision?

I wouldn't necessarily say at all that you can "refile a claim because you were giving bad information with your current service rep".

If you received a rating decision that you disagree with some issue on it and you are still within

the one year time frame of that rating decision - you can file a NOD.

If the one year time frame has expired, then the only way to re-open the claim issue is with new & material (N&M) evidence.

N&M evidence isn't exactly what you think it would be, so I suggest doing a search on it to familiarize yourself

with what is needed.
