Question

Wish could post as poll: how many have claim in appeal stages at least 2 years? I want to post this question better but not enougj space on topic header..

Example, claim, denied, al nod's and have had either dro hearing or form 9's for bva, or all of these, and have gone at least 2 years waiting for either unkown reasons, hanging in limbo, awaiting a certain type of hearing date, decision date...

also, you must have had (or absoltuely think, or know) that you have finished all c&p exams, and submitted all evidence..

you are waiting a decision, from a hearing,, have waiting at least 1 year since hearing, have had a partial decision from a claim with multiple issues, but lnly a decison was made on part of the claimed issues,,

in other words how many people have met all the requiremnts for a decision, have had a hearing, have submitted everything, had all c&p's, no more evidence is being sought, the VA has it all or access to it all either by computer or hardcopies...

Are you puzzled why it just stopped without explanation, is just in limbo...

any day now a letter with a final decision either after dro or bva is being awaited?

All has been said and done?

How many people can fit into a category of terminal illness or hardship, and the wait may outlast your life or family disaster?

===

I myself:

All has bene said and done, had DRO hearing 2 years ago,

all evidence, to my knowledge has been turned over to the proper claims offices).

I am dying form a terminal disease (necrotizing pancreatitis with severe complications) (the doctors/surgeons, specialists) cannot tell me when it will all come to the day I go back into the hospital, for a life threatening decision on drastic steps to take..).. and there are others that maybe has a medical condition that will most likely take their lives because of complications are a norm for the disease and or injury they suffer from).

I am sorry if I made this convuluted, but here it is in nutshell:

how many Disabled Veteran claimants are at the end of their journey with claims, cannot do anything else to help, and are looking at a horrific end, at either a known time or unknown time, and the VA is draggin their feet?

( I really am not doing this to make classes of disabled vets), but I do realize there are people suffering from the claim process, who are in much better shape physically, mentally, family wise, and more.. I am saying, how many are in deep -doo-doo who have done everythign they could do, and are at the mercy of this corrupt system.

I had to ask, I feel I am in a sea of many, many , uncountable people who are in these claims trying to get through it all... but have reached the end of their rope.. and like me, feel that death will come faster than the decision from the claims system att he VA... (no joke, not hyperbole... reality unhinged, the core of it all..).

I bet here are many like me, but are most likely much older and closer to death because of age.. I have been very sick since my mid 20's and ha dot leave the USAF at age 26, and lost the ability to work around 1990, and a little later, finally lost the fight to illness causing the loss of all of my family, home eveything and the ability to work, by my early 30's. But, most older vets get sick and get into their 70's and 80's and have the misfortune of succombing to long illness,,,

I never had the chance to age, I have been sick the whole time..

where do you fit in this disaserous disabilty sytem, deny deny, until they die?? or file, wait and get an increase...

Thanx, Steven
