Frankly, I dont beleive VA about that, and here is why.

The VA has "migrated" computer systems which control VA employee pay many times over the past 30 years or so. They had to. So, what did we hear about VA employee pay getting delayed 3 months "while the computer system is being fixed"? None.

I worked in Information Technology while in military service, and my job included actually supervising the printing of the base paychecks. (I was the night shift computer operations supervisor in 1973).

Believe me, you could mess up a lot of stuff, but dont mess up payroll. Not even for ONE day, let alone 3 months. Payroll was given the highest priority even over issues of National Security.

Veterans deserve every bit of their "payroll protection" that do VA employees.
