Berlin, I apologize to you because I posted the 2010 PTSD regulations but your claim is for PTSD due to MST.

We have considerable info here under a search for these types of claims.

This veteran did not have ‘markers’ the VA looks for , in his SMRs, but the BVA awarded his claim based on other information.

Chris Attig, attorney, is also a member here and has info on these types of claims

This was a success story for MST:

Our web master wrote this article here on MST:

VA does look for any inservice police reports, and/or 'markers' that support an unreported incident.

Those markers could be found in a veteran's 201 Service Personnel file, such as a sudden decline in performance on duty, or a request for transfer, or in buddy statements, any inservice counseling, and as the BVA award above shows, there might be no substantial documented proof in the veteran's military records.

We have a MST vet here ,sunnyh, whose posts and the replies might help too,for you to support your claim.

Yes, you will get through it ! Do you have a copy of your SMRS and Personnel file?
