Hi there,
So three years after my discharge I am considering filing a disability claim, but I am second guessing myself, wondering if it would be worthwhile. I have a lot of back pain, but all my range of motion is normal with one exception. My right lateral flexion of my spine is 10 degrees at most and extremely painful (I have a slightly curved spine). This also causes my shoulders to be uneven and causes pain there, as well as in my lower back and hips. The VA has also diagnosed me with sleep apnea. All I have been able to find so far is that the rating guidelines for ROM in the spine only applies to forward flexion. Does lateral not matter? Thank you!
