Question

Hi everyone, I went to see my main doctor at the V.A. and told her about the tingling and numbness that I have been feeling in my hands and sometimes next to my elbow. I mostly get it when I drive and my wrists are bent  or if I have to bend my wrists for a period of time I will feel the numbness and tingling. (It happens a lot when I sleep).

I went in for a consult and my doctor specifically told me that she does not think is carpal tunnel syndrome (with a  vague expression on her face). She explained the causes and symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and it matches with what I am going through. I did not want to argue with her and even though she did not ordered x-rays or an MRI she prescribed wrists supports to have them straight at all times or when I sleep.

Should I go back with her and try to get those x-rays done? Is the wrist support prescription enough to put in a claim and be successful at the claim? Any advises are welcomed.

Thanks,

Tired Marine 0331
