Ebenfits Updates

Helllo All

               I was hoping someone could help me understand.  On November 11, 2016 it will have been a year since I submitted a NOD DRO review.

I checked ebenefits to see if there are any updates or movement and there are none.  It is completely empty.   Can anyone shed some light as to why this is.  Will it always be this way?

By the way the case is a retro (back pay) I believe they owe me.

Have you checked all your options in E-BENEFITS?

Historical Claims? Claims gathering evidence? 

Status of Claim?

You definitely need to call the 1-800 # or contact your R.O. Asap  don't let your nod  time line run out.

you will need something to file your I-9 to the BVA to keep your appeal going.  like a SOC? OR A Denial from your NOD

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING ON E-BENEFITS ABOUT YOUR CLAIM   GET YOUR COPY THAT YOU FIRST FILED & COPY AND FAX THEM TO THE JANSEVILLE EVIDENCE CENTER JANESVILLE  WI & R.O. be sure and let them know that this is not a New claim but evidence to a claim you filed back on 11-11 2015

Thanks Buck52 for your input.   Ebenefits has a date of 11/11/15 which is when I submitted the claim.  I have an attorney who submitted the I9.  So all that is good.  I've check historical claims, and all the links I could think of.  There is small mention that I requested a NOD and a DRO review.  However, nothing else is in Ebenfits.  Is it normal to have Ebenfits be blank on the status of the case for a year? It doesn't tell me what they are looking at where in the process they are at completely nothing. Thanks again for your inputs.

No its not normal,  they either lost your entire claim or shredded it.??

if you get no explanation from VA?

  I'd would send Bob McDonald an EMAIL  OR his office about this b/c they should be able to tell you the status of your claim.

 Or Maybe I am not understanding  here?  if your Attorney has submitted the I9?  but even then you should have been notified on e benefits that they recieved you I9 at BVA

         Yea no I9 menioned on ebenefits.  I did call the 1-800-827-1000 and they said it's ready to rate but none of this is showing on ebenefits for me to track.  Maybe I'll try telling the folks at 1-800-827-1000 and tell them I'm willing to write Mr. McDonald.  Do you know the phone number and/or email address.

So can anyone tell me if it is normal for a NOD/DRO review to take more then a year and also have no updates to ebenefits?   I. Have alll the correct paper work in.    The NOD is for retroactive pay.   Should I send an IRIS request on why ebenefits is not updating?   Peggy says my case is ready for review since September.

Don't use any of this for betting purposes! Attempting to track the progress of a DRO anything or a BVA claim for that matter, is like chasing your tail. My guess is mid to late 2017, if your lucky. Then again, we're talking about the VA, it could be tomorrow.

The DRO Review Appeal Process is supposed to be the shortest, wait-time wise. Possibly 6 to 18 mos for the Review, maybe another 3 - 9 mos for the Official Decision Letter or Denial with SSOC, to arrive.

The success of your DRO Review, hinges on your mandatory Submission of New & Material Evidence, that was not available to the original rater, pre-decision. Failure to supply the Mandatory N & M E will result in an Administrative Denial and SSOC.

Is your Direct Deposit Bank/CU account set up to Txt/ & E-mail you notifications in real time, of ALL Financial Transactions? A DRO Award resulting in Retro $$, will usually hit your bank, well in advance of the Award Notification.
