Filed for compensation in April, sent for exam to industrial medical site in early October. Doctor said he'll forward findings to VA and they'll be in touch within 2 weeks. Checked eBenefits and Medical portal almost daily, no updates. Last week I get a phone call to show up at a civilian doctor for an exam. Went couple days ago (mid Dec). Same exact exam/test as the one I took 2 months previous. This is confusing to me. Is this normal?
I also contacted the VA and asked for the results of the October test. They said I have to fill out a Freedom of Information Act and ask for an audit, and I'm responsible for all fees. They sure don't make it easy.
