Case with the DRO no new C&P requested by BVA

Question

Just wondering if anyone had this happen to them and what the outcome was good or bad? My claim has been expedited for financial hardship as well. This is for DDD, Mental Health awarded at 30% and TDIU. I have had 3 surgeries in past 2 years on lower back with fusion, rods and screws. Limited motion and in the Home Bound program as I am unable to travel to DR appointments due to DDD.

No C&P appointments were requested as per BVA request but case is before DRO for decision.

Would you please explain your situation some more?

It sounds like your case went to the Board of Veterans Appeals, was remanded and is currently waiting on a DRO to adjudicate (rate) it?

As for the nor C&P appointments portion, that's not unusual.  The rater reviews the case and determines if additional evidence (exams, records...) is needed to determine the case.  They usually like to see a recent C&P exam to show the current state of the disability.

Since you have had multiple, major surgeries for your disability plus it has caused you obvious limitations, it sounds like additional evidence is not required.

IMHO, it's a good sign since you have clear evidence.  Caveats:  1- You never know what the VA will do   2- I am basing my opinion on what you provided, which is a very brief summary of your case.
