Cajun Posted April 14, 2017 Share Posted April 14, 2017 If you haven't already, you can get a paper from a VA Rep to exempt you from property taxes at 100%. Just bring the paper they give you to your tax assessor and that should help knock a chunk out of your mortgage. Also, in Louisiana 90 and 100% disabled vets get a benefit of full tuition payments for children, even adopted kids. Also, your family is entitled to a special type of health care.
