Drill Pay Adjustment taken twice

Rate this question

ILSoldier

Question

Okay, so not sure if anyone else had this problem but back in 2015 the VA withheld my VA compensation for my drill pay adjustment from 2012 which was a hefty some, then December 30, 2016 the VA came back again and withheld by drill pay adjustment from 2012 again. Has anyone else have this same problem where they withheld it twice and if so, what steps did you take to get that money back from the VA?

Yikes!

That would be very difficult to do- you see drill pay adjustments on their own tab- it has the fiscal years and numbers of days lsted at top, and completed years below, where you enter the actual transactions.

It's possible they completed one in one system, and the other in the new system.... I think.

They may have said they took one year, but actually took another??

It's a mindlessly simple process, but the VA makes it so complicated no one wants to do it.
