Congressional Help with Claim

Rate this question

Question

I am going on nine years of waiting for my notice of disagreement to be settled.  I went before the BVA in May 2016 and was sent back to the regional office for further review in October 2016.

I was wondering if my congressman would be able to help me out in this matter and I do not want to stall the progress of my claim or cause any conflicts any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a financial hardship in on my case also. I was told this would help my case to be speed up but it looks like it has stalled again at the RO.

I have a Lawyer and they have helped in getting all the paperwork in order,

I have a C&P exam scheduled for Apr 10th. Things are moving since my email was sent to Sec of VA.

Well, that is good. Good luck at the C&P exam. Do you have a Doctor that can provide an independent assessment as a counter to the C&P exam? It is almost always a good idea.

I have 3 doctors that have documented that my Back problems go back to 2008 when I took a medical retirement from the Veterans Administration. I also have had 3 back surgeries in which my pain management doctor has documented the last one as a failed back surgery. I had a nerve stimulator  implanted which has helped with the nerve pain but has not helped in being able to bend.
