I received a call from VA saying I need a C&P for ptsd and hearing since the V&RE counselor put it her note why I cant work and I was wondering is the norm. I hsf s C&P for hearing 7/2016 and raised to 30% and C&P for ptsd 8/2015 and raised to 50%. tennitus 10% for a total70    I was wondering is this normal that they want new C&Ps. The VA said i needed since VR&E counselor they were the reasons i could't work or be trained.    Any advise would be appreciated. Tne anxiety level is off charts   Semper Fi

Since the VR&E counselor stated you could not work or be trained, (and if that statement was solely based on you current SC conditions, then the VA has to consider TDIU.

Have you formally filed for TDIU yet?

Do you get SSDI solely for your SC conditions?

If not, and if you attain TDIU I strongly suggest that you apply for SSDI, and make sure SSA is aware of the TDIU award and the Voc Rehab statement.

I filed for tdiu in 10/2016 and I draw soc sec only. I was suprised that the want C&Ps for both hearing which I had one in 7/2016 and got there best hearing aid and C&P in 8/2016 heaing was raised 30%.I cant figure why they new C&Ps or this a normal.   Thanks again!
