Question

Not trying to be paranoid but I'm wondering why I can't find my treatment notes on blue button.  It used to be that you would be forced to wait 3 business days to see your notes but it's been a few weeks for 3 different doctors.  Anyone else having this problem?

I'm going to head to the medical center records department on Thursday and ask for a copy.  Once I have it I'll go to the patient advocate and ask what is going on.

IF YOU USED A Dr OUTSIDE THE VA THERE WILL BE NO NOTES..LIKE A C&P EXAM  THERE WON'T BE IN YOUR VA MEDICAL RECORDS/BLUE BUTTON NOTES.

Agreed sorry I assumed you meant it was done at your local VA. If it's outsourced you have to request it from the VA or if you have an attorney he can get you a copy.

If you use an outside MD, they are obligated to give you copies of your medical record on request.  Not sure if they can charge for paper copies, but my surgeon charged $5 for a DVD with everything he had on me. (Incl. MRI's, CT, XRAYS etc...)
