ptsd PTSD CLAIM QUESTION

I'm going to keep this short and not get into all the details. Just wondering if my situation is normal and hopefully I have nothing to worry about.

-Filed for Non-combat PTSD.

-Had all boxes checked with incidents ect...

-Had C&P exam 2 weeks ago.(April 4th)

-Checked E benefits on Wednesday (April 12th) and was shocked to see "Preparation for Notification", I called DAV and they told me I was being awarded 50% PTSD... Well less than an hour later I checked ebenefits and it was back to "gathering evidence" stage..

-I called DAV next day and they told me the 50% was just a recommendation and still had to clear all the stages ect...

-When I checked today (April 16th) it said "pending decision" so it has moved over the weekend

 

So my question will that 50% change? or am I in the clear?

honestly you are not in the clear until the word is official - though take heart it is not at all unusual for claims to go back and forth in status while you are waiting.

Kinda what I was thinking, I never check the Ebenefits site and that day I had a couple minutes to kill, now wishing I'd have never checked it that day..
