Am I missing something?

Question

I will continually see Veterans who post portions or all of the text from a C&P Exam. It's obvious they are copying and pasting from something. In the past none of my C&P exams have been available in MyHealthyVet (Blue Button). When I do a Health Record search it will show the C&P appointment but say "You May not View this completed exam."

I've always gone to the records section of the VA Hospital and gotten a paper copy. So how are you guys getting the electronic version? What am I missing? Thanks

Im not speaking for everyone, but you can get them several ways:

1.  My RBA was given to me, digitally, by my lawyer, which includes medical exams.

2.  You can, once you obtain the records on paper, scan them in and cut and paste, if you use the correct software.

3.  I have not had good luck obtaining C and P exams electronically, except, as above, but others may chime in.

I've given the C&P "process" about 3 weeks after my exam, then went to the Records, AKA Freedom Of Information, section of the hospital were I got my C&P exam, and was give a copy on the spot.

Your VA ID card and drivers license are all that's needed.

My PTSD DBQ 2011, was listed under Treatment Notes on MHV within a week or so. PH Secondary to SA DBQ C & P early 14, was posted the following day.  SA Increase C & P DBQ posted the following week 02/15.

QTC DBQ's go directly to the Rating Dept. Last I read info about QTC procedures, on the QTC Website, the proposed DBQ goes before a Board of QTC specialists to be sure all requested Rating Dept info has been addressed. Doesn't sound like it's completed and forwarded to the VA Rating Dept the same day as the C & P.

You need a premium account to view your results. You must go in person to any VA Health Facility and fill out VA Form 10-534 takes just a minute. I was able to view mine the same day. https://www.myhealth.va.gov/mhv-portal-web/upgrading-your-my-healthevet-account-through-in-person-or-online-authentication
