In checking on VA lack of action in 2regards to the Agent Orange presumptive listing of conditions, I noticed that the following with a date of September 2019 : If you have an illness you believe is caused by contact with Agent Orange—and you don’t see it listed above You can still file a claim for disability compensation. You’ll need to: Provide scientific and medical evidence that the condition is related to exposure to Agent Orange, or Show that the problem started during—or got worse because of—your military service Scientific proof may include an article from a medical journal or a published research study. VA has the results of thei…

I was unable to find a reply box to your post. We have a full Agent Orange forum here. Many veterans (and even their survivors) have succeeded in getting a disability, not on the presumptive list, service connected due to their proven exposure to AO. Also Secretary Wilkie is considering a few new presumptives, but we have no idea if he will even add any to the list. I wrote to him making a strong argument, as to the potential for HBP to be added, as well as ischemic stroke and have prepared a personal claim based on the same report a veteran used at the BVA, who also had a strong IMO/IME, and the BVA recently granted his HBP as due to his exposure to…

I went to a BVA hearing at the Atlanta VARO a few months ago, and I had an experience I wanted to share. Just one more reason why I don't trust the Atlanta office. While waiting for my hearing, we were told to stay in the cafeteria. While there I witnessed two VA employees discussing a veterans claims loud enough to be overheard. I didn't hear any names mentioned, but I still found it offensive because they were laughing and one of them mentioned how this particular veteran had already received a large retro payment and made some further comment that I cannot remember clearly now, but at the time I got the distinct impression that the veteran was being looked down because…

I had a C@P exam for rate increase. The ex-Air Force doctor was great. Besides the original diagnostic codes, he added in other codes for problems he noticed during the exam. I had back fusion, he added in hip pain which i do, also Medium nerve along with sciatic nerve and copper tunnel syndrome all of this is my rt side along with foot drop, what happens with claim when a doctor adds more to the claim. Thank you.

I live in extreme east Kentucky and my records are at the Louisville Ky Regional Office that is almost a 4 hour drive each way. I get my VA medical care at the Huntington WV. VA medical center and the VA Regional office is also in Huntington. To get there is only a 1 hour drive. Is it possible to switch RO's? What brought this to my mind is this. scan0006.pdf

The posts in this forum are placed by much younger veterans than myself, but "The more things change, the more they stay the same" I could detail my experiences with this regional center, but how it is changing is detailed better by going to the below URL at the News Journal newspaper at Wilmington, Delaware. Maybe I should wait and revise my experiences there? http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/nation/military/2015/03/21/docs-nurses-investigated-whilework-mounts-others-wilmington-va/25137901/

Based on an experience I am trying to straighten out where my VSO was changed either by clerical error or some other devious reason. I suggest everyone check all your info that you can. This has caused me a lot of grief in trying to get the dependency payments reduced after my wife of 64 years passed away.

I would like to point out that a veteran can request a hearing at thier local Regional office at any time your claim is still there, . If you would like to try and get something cleared up, you can request a conference and they will see you, prior to a decision or after.. . I didnt know this until not too long ago. I think calling them would be much easier but they dont allow it. Shortly after a negative decision has been made, before the ink dries good, can be a good time for a conference, that could clarify wrong information, and lead to a favorable claim, also, at a hearing, you can ask the regional office EXACTLY what needs to be done to win your claim, if there is…
