AB8 Question
Hey gang, I know that some people have gotten a jump on decisions by seeing updates to their AB8 benefit verification letters. I'm one of the guys who's been stuck at Pending Decision Approval, so I like to at least have multiple things to click when I'm on ebennies. My question is regarding the effective date on the AB8. If my current claim is denied, will the effective date on my AB8 change, or will it remain the same as my previous award? If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate your thoughts! Thanks! Pending Decision Approval

Date Claim Submitted
Hello, New to the site and so far I have to say that it looks very beneficial. My question is regarding my claim submittal date in e-benefits. I submitted my claim on March 3rd of this year, but when I take a look at my open claims under "work in progress", it has my submittal date as 07/02/16, which is the day after I actually retire. Should I be concerned with this, or is this normal? Thanks in advance!

Ebenny Question
I have been Service connected on several issues and just recently applied for other service connected issues and I just completed a C&P exam on Monday 18 April. I just went to ebenefits and looked under rated disabilities and noticed that the new issues that I was just seen for on Monday have been added to the previous issues that have been there for years but the percentages weren't changed. Does anyone out there knows if this is a good or bad sign as far as getting and increase in my percentage?

VSO said letter sent but I went bakwards in eBenefits
Hello All, Has anyone seen something like this before? I submitted my claim 7 July 2015 after the Air Force said I was no longer fit for duty due to medical. I was recently discharged and chose to file my claim for all of the conditions I developed over the last 16 years. In the last 2 months, I moved into Preparation for decision, then pending decision approval, then back to prep for decision. When I was pending approval, there was an estimated timeframe of about a week. This changed 3 times. The last time it went past the date again and then back to prep for decision. This is when I emailed my VSO and asked him what the deal was. He said today, they were making an …

VA dependant claim completed 04-14-16
Hi, everyone... My dependency claim (my mother who lives with me does not work due to stage 4 cancer) was completed 04-14-16 (filed it 01/14/2014) and it still shows nothing in my AB8 letter. Is this mean most likely I will get denied? Thank you

Submitting New Evidence For Appeal (DRO Review)
Does anyone know if there is a way to submit new evidence via eBenefits for a pending appeal? I appealed a denial for increase in lumbar spine (rated 10%). I went to a pain management center for evaluation and epidural. They did a physical examination and the report says in part "The patient forward flexes 30 degrees, extends -5 degrees. He is unable to right or left side bend." If I can't submit it via eBenefits, how should I submit it? I have a newly submitted claim that is hopefully a FDC but if I send the new medical report to the evidence intake center won't that make the pending claim a standard claim? Sorry for all the questions but there doesn't seem to…

ebenefits The Shell Game Continues
I'm so grateful that I am involved with my dad's claim. He was pending decision on April 8 (all c and p exams completed and favorable) and then he receives a letter on April 15 that he never uploaded his 526 EZ to ebenefits. Has this ever happened to one of you? Unfortunately for them, I was able to find it in ebenefits myself with the date stamp of 12-15. This shell game they are playing with these vets is unacceptable. ?

Anyone Know? - Inconsistencies Between Rated Disabilities and Letters
Does anyone know how long it takes for eBenefits to update and reflect the correct rating after an award? I was rated on all my contentions and the letters show me as 100% P&T, the commisary letter is available, the I9 shows 100% and the other letter shows permanent and total. When I look at the Disabilities section it shows a rating of 90%. When I do the math I'm at 100%. Thanks all!

ptsd retre payment
After 6 years, BVA approved claims forPTSD increase (50% to 70% ) and A&A. Recieved documents from BVA on April 7,2016. I had decided to wait for award letter from Regional Office. Paranoia awakened after discussions with fellow Vets who carry loads of VA induced doubt and suspicions. Mixed reactions regarding amount and time frame of retro payments. The claims are approved for the entire appoliate period. I have tremendous respect for friends who are "counseling" me. However, they cannot offer untainted advice. I have been told that it will take months before my award is processed. Is this a reality? I am grateful for the decision but paranoia is awake. thank y…

Intend to File question
May 30th 2015, I filed "intend to file" a handful of disabilities and can't find what I filed for, since Ebenefits keeps updating their software. Went through the open application and not able to find them in there. Help on locating them.
