New E-Benefits Platform
Whoa doggie. Keep your seats in the upright position and sinch that seatbelt tight. Looks like they gave Ebennies a facelift. I have been playing with it accessing different information and from what I have noticed the new platform has a lot of cosmetic changes. One thing I do not like is that the evidence list is no longer there. It only shows what evidence you submitted in your claim after January 25, 2015. Why am I not surprised. I guess I will give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the information will be listed elsewhere but so far I have not found it. Convenient I think. I have a feeling this is just going to make things more complicated. A…

Weary Of E-Benefits Requests.
I don't know how many people have had this happen to them but I thought I should mention it on this forum. Something is amiss here. I have a few claims that have been decided on and other that I filed NOD's for. I got tired of the games and I sought the help of an Attorney. This is now the second time that requests for information have been made through E-bennefits without going through my rain maker. From what I understand of the law and what my attorney has stated this is illegal. They must go through my attorney and Ebenefits is not a proper avenue to request anything from a claimant. There is just not a real record to trace this as it can be edited by t…

When Does Va Payment History Update?
I am curious as to when the payment history updates. I was recently awarded 90 percent and should get my first monthly check on the first. I was curious as to how soon before the check is authorized for direct deposit before it will show on there? Also, will I catch my retro pay there or in my bank first you think? I am mainly wondering about the update for monthly compensation but also if my retro will show on there as well.Thank you for taking the time to respond.

ptsd Rating Reduction?
I was looking on Ebenefits last night and noticed under the letters section that is says I am up for a rating reduction on July 1st. News to me. I will have had my rating for six years at that point. 50% PTSD, 10% hearing, 10% shoulder and 0% for my knee for a 60% award. I stopped my PTSD treatments a little over two years ago for a couple reasons. Every time I went all the psychiatrist wanted to do was shove pills down my throat. At one point he had me on a cocktail of pills that had me like a space cadet. Another time the pills he gave me had me messed up with behavior issues and lost my job and was out of work for two years. Then all the reports came out about the …

Myhealthevet Blue Button ... Premium Account.. Get It !
Heres an easy way to get a complete copy of your VA medical records and keep track of your health. you can send messages directly to your doctors office, request meds, read clinical notes , request appointments ect. ect. first go to the MYHEALTHEVET and register, then apply for a premium account. this is free. You have to get an authentication which is easy, just download the form, sign it and mail it to your VAMC. If your account is not upgraded to premium in around 30 days, call your local VAMC and request to talk to the myhealthevet authentication guy. Once you have your premium account, you dont have to call the 1800 call center to send information that often …

Ebennies "update Frequency"
How often is eBennies updated? I opened a claim informally by phone on June 30, 2014. My VSO submitted the fully-developed claim November 17, 2014 and as yet the VA is still in evidence gathering mode (where it was before we submitted the claim). The VSO said it takes about 23 days for a contractor to scan in the claim and submit it to the VA. Does it make sense to check twice daily.... or do they update once a day... once a month? Thanks for any insight into this mystery.

tdiu 21-4192
Reviewed Ebenefits and the only items missing is the 21-4192 forms- Unemployability forms They were sent out for completion on 12/9/2014. Prior to yesterday that is what what is the system with a activity date of 1/9/2014. Now they are saying they just sent out to employers 1/6/2015... Does not make sense. One of the employers is out of business and I doubt the other one will complete. Left on bad terms... So what is the get around on this one?

ptsd Filed Ptsd Claim But Isn't In Ebennies
Just a quick question. I filed my PTSD claim (FDC) through DAV and it was date stamped by the VARO as being received on the 12th of November 2014. It still isn't being reflected on eBenefits so can't track the progress (if any). Who should I contact? Thanks in advance!
