Has anyone had multi organ failure after taking the generic brand of Zoloft. I have hubby in hospital now. He was put on the med in nov/dec. he was on it about 2 weeks and he had seizure. Since then liver enzymes started back bad, and just kept getting worse. Then his kidneys started going from third stage to dialysis noe. His heart is going too. He has a replacement valve and it is a pig valve, but it is 10 years. And is not opening properly. Doc just ignore me when I ask if this could be due to the generic Zoloft.

I am currently appealing to the US court for my denial of increase in GERD to include Class C esophagitis, erosive gastritis. I am currently being rating for 10% since 2007, up from 0% in 1998 or over 13 years, even though Ive had GERD, gastris with H pylori in service and then again with the claim I made in 2007. I didnt know of the bad C&P until I got my C-file in 2018. It is very important to get yours, as you can find out a lot of things. Like they didnt forward your VA file and your civilian paperwork to the examiner. I was very lucky the examiner noted this, as rater said he did in the decision. Had an ACE in 2019 which examiner stated she reviewed, but omit…

Apology and Thank You I apologize in advance if my first-time post is not in the correct place or forum for my question. But I sincerely thank anyone in advance who might be able to help someone at their wits end. Scenario My mother is 91 and has out-of-this-world severe back pain (lumbar pinched nerve). The only medication she takes for anything is 10mg Prednisone. The doctor prescribed her oxycodone (Percocet) 5mg which made her uncomfortably dizzy. And, taking a half dose (2.5mg) doesn't touch the pain. Question Does there exist a strong pain medication that does not cause dizziness? Unimportant commentary I have tried to find the answer on my ow…

Ok. I serendipitously found out what a dental bone graft was when my outside assigned by VA dentist was denied authorization but put one in anyway. After that I begin messaging through the secure messaging system my dentist who for 30 days and over 15 messages and 15 replies (approx) Told me every which way to Sunday that “VA does not authorize bone graft.” During the last 32 days of questioning through the messaging system about this to the same dentist, it was revealed that this was local VA policy. So I asked about how stranger possibly cruel that was, that a veteran could move to another place and get a bone graft! IF said Vet KNEW IT WAS HAPPENING!!! then a…

On June 14, 2021, the company issued a recall notification (U.S. only) / field safety notice (Outside of U.S.) for specific affected devices. The notification informs customers and users of potential impacts on patient health and clinical use related to this issue. Possible health risks include exposure to degraded sound abatement foam, for example caused by unapproved cleaning methods such as ozone, and exposure to chemical emissions from the foam material. High heat and high humidity environments may also contribute to foam degradation in certain regions. https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/e/sleep/communications/src-update Has anyone heard from his o…

I HAD A NUCULAR STRESS TEST DONE AT THE VA HERE IS SOME OF THE REPORTS AND CONCLUSION/IMPRESSION ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS??? FINDINGS: The baseline ECG demonstrates normal sinus rhythm. The stress test was negative for chest pain or ECG changes diagnostic of ischemia. The heart rate went from 72 to 96 BPM and blood pressure from 141/70 mmHg to 111/64 mmHg, indicating good response to pharmacologic stress agent. The patient reported dyspnea which resolved completely during the recovery phase. Quality assurance review shows good alignment of emission and transmission data.
