Good Morning, I believe my desktop computer is crashing. Background: This started about three days ago after setting up my new laptop (leveno)w/router (trendnet) feeding off desktop computer (Dell). Both computers have different security applications (Mcafee and CA internet security). Above information may have nothing to do with problem. The problem is internet windows explorer keeps popping up on monitor without me doing anything. I can be working on a document (word processor) and it pops up. Sometimes I can X out of it others time I have shut the computer down to get it off the screen, McAfee says I don't have any viruses. The popup say I have 159 threats. …

I use Windows XP and AOL. I just got 5 different Mailer Demon emails to me. Each one states that I've sent a Viagra link from a Canadian Pharmacy to about 50 different people in my Address book. Oh great - my Uncle who is like a saint is going to believe I sent him this crap. What do I do to get rid of this ? I'm going to try running SpyBot for now. Thanks, carlie

I currently have HughesNet and it doesn't run as fast as it did when I lived in ID, from '03-'05. I believe they've changed their system which was allegedly "upgraded." I'm going to try DSL, as I finally got my landline, in and woking, and they now offer it. I'll need to compare which is actually faster but exactly, not just how I feel it's working. Thanks for any help! pr

A member was able to PM me through Hadit and get my response PM back to him through Hadit. But that's all he can do and he needs some help. This is his problem. Please provide some suggestions. BTW - he has already tried logging out and then logging back in and that did not help. Thanks, carlie I cannot post new topics or post any replies on the forum. I use AOL Broadband and Windows XP. I keep having a problem trying to look at things and will get a little box that says - Macroflash media is blocked by AOL pop-up controls. I treid to unblock it but now I click on the box and all it says is plugin. carlie

Knowledgeable people who don’t have time to read all posts may skip yours if your need isn’t clear in the title. I don’t read all posts every login and will gravitate towards those I have more info on. Use paragraphs instead of one massive, rambling introduction or story.
Again – Make it easy for others to help. If your question is buried in a monster paragraph, there are fewer who will investigate to dig it out.
How To Post
Post a clear title like
‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of ‘I have a question."
This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?”
Note:
Your first posts on the board may be delayed before they appear as they are reviewed. The review requirement will usually be removed by the 6th post. However, we reserve the right to keep anyone on moderator preview.
This process allows us to remove spam and other junk posts before hitting the board. We want to keep the focus on VA Claims, and this helps us do that.
