Crdp Vs Va Disability (retroactive)
If you fall in my boat. Retired Sep 2005, va accessed me 100% Mar 2006. CRDP isn't retroactive but since I retired with over 20 years. I used the complaint that since I was was over 20 years DFAS paid me my retirement or CRDP which would be the same but the VA gave me nothing. Well it worked I highly suggest each one in my boat to reopen a claim to this effect by calling you regional office to get what is due to you. Don't let them tell you any different.. They gave you nothing and you deserve every penny. File.... CRDP and retirement are paid by DFAS, VA pays disability!

Pt/iu Question
I am currently rated at 60% combined with a claim that recently was denied twice and then went to DRO who also denied. I sent facts about my case from the CFR and asked for a hearing at the VARO in Roanoke. It was scheduled for 1/9 (tomorrow) but yesterday my VSO rep called to tell me that there was no need to come because a few days prior the VA decided to give me the max award for my fibro 40%. So, 60 + 40 = 100. Well, not to the VA . It looks like my new combined rating will be 80% (40 + 30 + 20 + 10 + 10). Does anyone know if I am eligible for PT/IU? I haven't worked in two years. Also, SSA denied me all the way up to the ALJ. I'm now trying to decide whether or no…

Application For Benefits, Form Letter, Nonspecific
Recieved another "We have recieved your application for benefits .....form letter". This letter does not state what benefits I applied for, this letter is once again another form letter I have recieved that doesn't SHOW or STATE what I applied for. Has anyone else returned their 'form' letter for specifics or IRIS'd asking what exact benefits application the VA recieved? My gripe,,,, following the rules, I have to tell VA my 'specific benefit requested', why can't they identify what "specific benefit request" they are referring to? (Yes, I have more than one request in.)
