tdiu Received Supplement Statement Of The Case
I received a supplement statement of the case. I was denied a couple of things but was informed: INTRODUCTION: We have separately issued a new rating decision granting entitlement to a total evaluation based on unemployability and increasing the evaluation of your depressive disorder to 70% disability You will receive formal notification of this decision and all retroactive benefits due you separately. I applied for TDIU over a year ago, does this look like TDIU??????

tinnitus What Exactly Do I Ask Private Doc To Write For My Appeal
Hello fellow vets: I am filing an appeal for service connection of vertigo secondary to tinnitus/hearing loss. I've gone to a private doc who gave me a complete and thorough exam. What can my private doc write for me to help my appeal. Does he need to see my total medical VA records? Very grateful for any help. Thanks.

Va Retro
Has anyone with an appeal at the appeals management center or the BVA received your VA retro award yet? I' m being told that I won't receive my award until my appeal is complete and my files are sent back to mr RO. This don't sound right to me since they have a temp file at the RO. I recently got divorced and sent a copy of my papers to the RO and my pay record has been adjusted. This only took one month. The RO is who told me they had to wait so if anyone has received their Retro Pay please tell me what you had to do to get it. I received a letter Friday telling me their requesting information again that they already have. I spoke with my rep a few months ago and…

ptsd Bva Decision Time?
I was granted a BVA hearing with a traveling board member in Cleveland, Oh. on 14 May 2007. On 22 May 2007 I recieved confirmation that my VA records were transferred to Washington DC. It was on 3 Aug 2007 that I recieved confirmation from the BVA that my records have arrived and that they "will soon be actively considering your appeal". My appeal is for Sevice Connected PTSD of which I have been diagnosed but was granted pension for Non-service connected social phobia in 2003. I was wondering if anyone knows a time estimate on when a decision may be made considering the dates I have posted. Thanks!

More Va Ineptness
FWD: MORE VA INEPTNESS Perfect example of VA ineptness on behalf of White House Philosophy to stall or deny Veterans Compensations Gary Henton, one of my 2/94th Battalion Members who served in C Battery 66-67 was diagnosed with lung cancer and brain cancer in a VA hospital. While Brain Cancer is not presumptive (it should be), Lung Cancer is on our Infamous list of Associated Medical Issues to the Herbicides used in Nam. Gary submitted his presumptive association claim of Stage IV lung cancer on July 20, 2007 after being diagnosed in a VA hospital in May of 2007. He still waits for financial help to assist him in fighting the go…

Blue Water Ao Vets
http://www.veterans.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?pageid=1 Please protest this ridiculous bill by sending your comments directly to Senator Akaka via the Disability Commission. Also your state Senators are mere clicks away- at the VA web page and you can email them via the VA web site. This bill defies Nehmer- established VA case law and apparently Akaka does not know that the DOD has confirmed AO was used in Korea.I reminded him. The EED for retro AO under Nehmer is proposed to be changed to Sept 30,2002 in all Nehmer cases and I cannot imagine where they got this idea- Nehmer is established VA case law- This bill will undo Nehmer and prevent any AO vet wh…

My husband has had numerous cysto procedures, for his prostate from bladder stones over the past 8 years- his Uro. from the VA left and we were very comfortable with him, he felt the cystos, and monitoring the stones was enough-- 2 new Uro. scheduled him a TURP for various reasons we were skeptical-being the old Uro. felt differently-- Reluctantly it was scheduled-- surgery was to be 1 hour or so--having been waiting for 4 hours. - my daughter and I felt something was wrong-- finally demanding a contact in the OR-( everyone gave me the be out soon story) URo. came out said he didn't do anything- my husband now (had double epid. figuring …
