ptsd C And P Exam
I went with my husband to his C&P exam- he had already had one 3 years ago- and is diagnosed withPTSD-by VA IMO AND SS-I am always with him at all exams- I was detained by security when I asked to be present with him- and if I could video tape his exam,he was afraid they would say he was never there, and off Iwent to the PAO office for the entire 2 or more hours.I was questioned like I was a criminal to be there for my husband I was only let in for 5 minutes or less to get him- when he had hives FROM THE STRESS OF NOT KNOWING WHERE I WAS,HIS BP WAS OUT OF WHACK, i COULD GO ON.he was a wreck!! Anyone else?

Va Pgw Registry
I just completed my VA PGW Registry. I was just wondering if my so called exam was normal. I just dropped off the paperwork that was mailed to me by the VA and the guy double checked my PGW area dates, this was it. He asked if I had any questions about the program and I said I had a few things to talk about as in my condition I was told to just talk to my VA Primary care doctor for my problems. He didn't let me tell anything to him that was going on with me nor did he ask anything. This was different than the CCEP I completed while on active duty. Also, if a VA NeuroPhysc said I qualify for DSM IV and related problem of PGW vets is that not a diagnoses? My VSO t…

Retirement Pay & Va Comp--adjustment Of Taxable Income & Tax Withheld
When is the adjustment for the retroactively approved non-taxable VA compensation made on the DFAS retirement account? I have a new retirement account at DFAS, effective September 1; but, there are no adjustments for January-August 2007 where my taxable income should have been reduced and replaced by a like-amount of VA compensation. My award was retroactive to August 2006. CRDP is not a consideration at this time. Thanks!

Is The Penis A Creative Organ?
Apparently there was a Regional Office that denied a veteran SMC (special monthly compensation) for "loss of, or loss of use of, a creative organ" by claiming that the penis was NOT a "creative organ"................anyway, you gotta read this. http://www.va.gov/vetapp07/files2/0717935.txt Now, I don't know about the rest of you guys but I have been known to be pretty "creative" with mine......................!

Recieved A Letter From Dav
I recieved a letter from the dav today. The VA increased my rating for depression from 30% to 70%. I have yet to recieve my letter from the VA. The letter from the dav is dated September 7th. I am service connected also for a bilateral knee disability. Right knee rated 40%, left knee rated 40% (knee replacement for both). When I do the math with the bilateral factor, rounding up I get a rating of 100%. Can the experts here do the math and tell me if I am right. thanks

Blue Water Ao Vets
"Rthomass wrote: Stretch I have e-mailed and sent a priority letter to our Mr. Akaka. I am going to copy and paste to this reply. May I strongly suggest that all Veterans get off their duff's and contact Mr. Akaka and their Senators and Representative to protest Senate BILL S-2026. " I am supporting his statement that this is a serious issue -very serious------ If you have not written to Senator Akaka please consider doing this because this bill ultimately AFFECTS EVERY VETERAN! This bill defies Nehmer as well as Agent Orange. It would alter the entire Nehmer COurt Order and Stipulation involviong retroactive payments. It would prevent any AO vet who served …
