Part of my claim was never paid.
I had cervical spinal surgery in April of 2020 and was awarded 100% temporarily for April and May of 2020. I was also awarded 60% for August. They never paid me the 100% for April. How do I go about getting the pay they said I was awarded for the month of April? They paid me for May and August.

Opinion on Personal Statement
I am writing to provide additional information in support of my claim for benefits related to my diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, and Chronic Pancreatitis as well as other diagnosed illnesses, in which I believe are connected to my military service, due to exposure to Trichloroethylene (TCE) at Edwards AFB as applicable under the PACT ACT and a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) during my active duty service at Edwards AFB. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) designated Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) as a Superfund site due to the contamination of trichloroethylene (TCE). TCE contamination was found in soil and groundwater at the base. A number of US Government …

Secondary conditions
Greetings all! I am rated at 100% P&T. I totally understand I will not increase my percentage nor va comp pay. I will focus on one issue…Chronic Pain, and Depression, secondary to residual pain from 4 knee replacements , and lower back issues. Both are service related and part of my current 100%. The related pain, limited function of my body ad a whole, has effected me so much, I am almost a total recluse. Limited driving, setting, standing…you know the drill. As a result, I have been treated for severe depression. I am maxed out on depression medications. Has anyone had positive VA secondary connection to an existing rated condition, and did you get rated. Thanks….an…

Tinnitus Service Connected but Hearing Loss Denied
Hello, I’m new to the community and wanted to get some advice. I’m service connected for Tinnitus but was denied Hearing Loss due to my hearing not meeting the requirements at the time of testing. I later developed hearing loss and now wear hearing aids in both ear. I was planning on doing a VA claim for hearing loss again but didn’t know what I should do… has anyone had this experience? I have Audiograms from both VA and personal ENT showing proof of Hearing Loss and my ENT also documented that it was likely due to my service in the Gulf War. I didn’t know if I needed to file a supplemental claim or submit a new claim….

ACE Exams - How Long Does It Take To Advance a Claim?
I ask questions on this forum from time to time for two of my Vietnam vet, AO disabled brothers. One recently filed a new presumptive illness claim (cancer) and as part of the Evidence Gathering phase was told there would be an ACE exam. That was exactly three weeks ago. Since then he's heard nothing. The VA website still shows as Evidence Gathering. We have submitted online all of his medical reports, biopsies etc, so on this end we are just waiting for the VA to take the next step. Any idea on how long we should wait before we contact them (800 number) and ask if there is a delay? Thanks in advance for your advice and assistance. Max

HadIt.com Changes Ownership
Update: HadIt.com Changes Ownership https://www.hadit.com/update-hadit-com-changes-ownership/ Brothers and Sisters - The time has come for me to transition from HadIt.com. Creating and running the site for over 26 years has been my life's work and passion. I treasure my interactions with each of you and take great joy in knowing how many veterans HadIt.com has helped. HadIt.com is not going anywhere. As of February 2023, I have gifted HadIt.com to a Nonprofit that will take over the continued running of the site into the future. The nonprofit was created for this purpose. Our member Rattler will take the lead as I withdraw from the day-to-day…

Multiple Claims Combined Into One C&P exam
I have a total of 5 claims that VA combined into one claim. I got notified from VES I have to do a C&P exam. They said the exam will be with one doctor for all 5 issues which are PTSD , Hip pain (secondary to Plantar Fasciitis) Arthritis in ankle from Plantar Fasciitis ( increase) Cyst Postoperative ( rated at 0% upon exiting military in the 90’s) and Sinusitis ( clamined h yes the PACT Act) and previously done a C&P exam. Is this a normal practice to see ONE doctor for for the C&P exam for drastically different medical claims ? If so is this a good or bad thing? Any information would be greatly appreciated

Claim consolidate
A few questions. I filed a claim for my increase rating of hypertension and heart attack secondary. So months later when I put in some pact act claim they moved like 5 conditions into this claim. I called the Va and she confirmed that, not like I couldn’t see it but wanted to know why….those will hold up my original claim. Is there a way to get that changed? I’ve already have the exam for my original claim increase bp and heart attack…. I also told them I had another heart attack last month and didn’t know if submitting that claim would mess up the current progress. She said just submit the evidence with the current claim. I want to ensure my 3 mon…

VA Follow-Up Question on A.O. Prostate Cancer
Hey everyone, first time here with HadIt under new management. I wish them the best running this important veteran resource. I was diagnosed with Agent Orange prostate cancer three years ago. I was approved almost immediately by the VA for a 100% disability rating. My cancer has not been treated yet because my doctor (private practice) is following me with "active surveillance." He runs periodic tests (biopsies, MRI's, etc.) but treatment, such as surgery or radiation is postponed because my cancer is growing so slowly. The VA recognizes active surveillance and is ok with it. During this active surveillance phase of care the VA continues to pay me at the 100% rating…
