Weird Situation Lawyer
I contacted a lady at state veterans affairs who represented me the last time i filed for an increase. I asked her if she would represent me for my possible claim for increase. When she represented me before i became impatient and hired legal help for veterans. However no sooner than i hired them my claim was approved and they said i did not owe them anything and what i was approved for they said was their goal also. So i figured my relationship with legal help for vets was over and from what the lady told me there they were happy for me ,no harm done. So when i contact the state lady she says she cannot represent me as she looked on the computer and says i still h…

Va Disability Spouse
I filed a va disability claim in 2008 and on the application for closest relative I put my common law wife in pa at the time and put relationship as wife. On all of our documentation for over the past 20 years (income tax, house we own together, etc) she has always been listed as my wife. This claim was filed in early 2008 and since then in oct of 2008 she moved from house and we are separated although we still own house together. If I get my disability claim will she be entitled to any monthly compensation from the claim. The state we live in pa does recognize common law marriage if that has anything to do with it or is it only if the va recognizes it. She still use…

ptsd How Long Does The Varo In Ga Take To Process Claims
I filed my claim in October, I have gotten 2 brown envelopes and have completed the docs and sent them back. I have also taken advise from here and working on what I have been told to do to try and find my records. When I called and asked for a status update they said they were waiting on my civillian records to come back. They claimed they did not get some of the docs I sent so I am sending them another copy. Since I have no records I am also sending them a statement from a girl that worked in outpatient phyciatry where I was seen on active duty as well as a few more statements. That will be done by the end of the week. I am just curious how long claims are taking …

Incompetency
My wife is my payee for my social security retirement . I was on ssi ,and i am planning on asking for an increase from 50% to 80%. The last time i got my increase the c&p examiner seemed to question my competency and after asking my wife a few questions let me have control of my check. If i ask and get increase and they want a fiduciary what are the drawbacks and i wouldnt mind my wife having control.

Lunatic Physician Assistant
I've got this PA, I've never seen the actual doctor, my primary care provider, but they're treating hypertention and NOT the root cause. I was taking hydrocodone (vicodin) they prescribed for a screwed up lower back/right hip but when two of my tests came back "clean" they quit. Nothing untoward is going on with these scrips or meds and these "medical professionals" are about to send me over the edge. I've talked, provided documented evidence and argued. My only true option here is asking for another doctor, but, all we have here is foreigners working off student debt from medical school so they can return home. I'm really tired of being some new resident's cra…

Carpal Tunnel
Hi all, Well I applied for SC carpal tunnel secondary to Bi-lateral radiculopathy. Today (actually yesterday), I get the standard packet VCAA form and such stating "we are working on your claim, we need additional evidence". It has a sentence that reads as follows; "Note: Temporary or intermittent flare ups of a condition are not considered aggrevation, unless the underlying condition, as contrasted by symptoms, has gotten worse". I submitted a letter from my neurologist connecting the to together. However, they also want treatment records and such, but prior to the radiculopathy I never has carpal tunnel. My question if my SC injury created the carpal tun…
