Effective dates… BS
I don’t understand why the rule is you are only granted effective when you file. I recently have 3 disabilities 2 from burn pits filed in December granted effective in September not sure if it was a congressional thing but my claim i filed on Feb 15 they closed out and added it lt my pending claim bill from November that was about to close but now it remains open for bilateral hearing loss.

Google's AI is Gemini.google.com so I gave it go the other day and wanted to share it with the community. Look at what we built! i asked: What is the history of hadit.com veteran to veteran? HadIt.com Veteran to Veteran: A History of Supporting Veterans HadIt.com Veteran to Veteran boasts a remarkable 27-year history (as of 2024) of serving veterans. To Clarify Theresa M. Aldrich "Tbird" is the Founder of HadIt.com Veterans
I am the sole founder of HadIt.com. There is some confusion on the web, and I want to clarify that. Founder of HadIt.com Theresa M. Aldrich "Tbird" Any claims to be the founder or involved in the founding or planning of HadIt.com other than myself, Theresa M. Aldrich, "Tbird HadItcom," are false. There has never been a staff. There has always been just me, Theresa M. Aldrich "Tbird" Navy veteran—other than a few volunteer moderators on our discussion forum. I have done all the work on the site, including design, research, writing, graphics, marketing, social media, SEO, and more. It has been my life's work for over 27 years. In 2023, I gifted the site…

Back claim question…..
So I’m new here after being kinda little fed up with Reddit. I have a back claim question….. I got out in ‘05 and had service connection for, “ Postoperative residuals, left knee anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and medial meniscus debridement Service-connected disability? Yes. Effective date: 11/19/2005 “ So over time my knees got worse and my back did too. In 2014, I had terrible back pain with sciatica on right side. I went to my primary care and after a x-ray I was diagnosed with “ degenerative narrowing of the l4-5 and l5-s1 discs, with early osteoarthritis” and right side Sciatica. I went a few more times for sciatica over the years. With that pa…

Tinnitus Service Connected but Hearing Loss Denied
Hello, I’m new to the community and wanted to get some advice. I’m service connected for Tinnitus but was denied Hearing Loss due to my hearing not meeting the requirements at the time of testing. I later developed hearing loss and now wear hearing aids in both ear. I was planning on doing a VA claim for hearing loss again but didn’t know what I should do… has anyone had this experience? I have Audiograms from both VA and personal ENT showing proof of Hearing Loss and my ENT also documented that it was likely due to my service in the Gulf War. I didn’t know if I needed to file a supplemental claim or submit a new claim….

Shoulder claim question.
Im filing a claim for bilateral shoulder pain. I tore my left shoulder labrum doing PT in the gym in Kuwait, but never got seen because it was the week right before the invasion in 2003. Never had it fixed before I got out cause I had to extend for ACL/Meniscus repair in 2005. 2014 I had a primary care visit for left shoulder pain and a lidocaine injection. A few months later an MRI that diagnosed a complex left shoulder torn labrum, old fracture and osteoarthritis. The pain is now over on my right shoulder and I think there may be some issues on that side. I also keep having left side trap muscle pain with tingling in the upper back and arms/hands. So w…

Pending HLR
While my higher level review for my hearing loss is awaiting service connection Ive been getting evidence all lined up which cant be submitted for the review very annoying. Ive been deemed eligible for the 3M settlement for my hearing loss and tinnitus by Brown and Greer who is handling all the 280 k claims. Is there anyway to submit their medical findings into evidence now or do I have to wait for the denial first?

SMC QUESTION..SMC T
What do you think the odds are that I will get SMC-T awarded by the BVA, Bronco? Laska (in for Haskell) v McDonough has not been decided yet. CCK seems to be taking SMC cases. I just sent my signed fee agreement to them yesterday. I think I may qualify for SMC-T. Was denied SMC period by the AOJ on January 22, 2024. Have a nurse supervising my care and medications, including filling the medication dispenser once a week. She also ordered community care occupational therapy and physical therapy. Will get her help to get housekeeping, possibly from the senior center and someone to cook a meal on weekends. Need watching because I take a seizure medication.…

Records Retention by C&P Examiner
I have been told that a C&P examiner can retain only a limited amount of information. What information may be retained and where do I find such a rule (e.g.: "M21-1 Adjudication Procedures Manual"). Thank you in advance.
