Amc Nightmare.....
I have an appealed claim for IU due to mood disorder because of TBI that was sent to BVA then remanded to AMC with a statement to expedite the process(whatever that means). My VA psych's notes were sent to them stating that I am unemployable due to my condition and the meds I take. It has been there for about 7 months. After numerous calls to 800#, I was told by someone that called me from AMC, that they are waiting for a response from the SSA to see if I am receiving any benefits. I told them that I am not receiving any benefits, but they said they needed SSA to tell them that. After a few months I contacted SSA and told them what was happening, and they said that th…

Shoulder Mri Question - Anyone Know What This Means?
Good evening. I have a question and I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on what this means and or what may happen. I am currently 70% for anxiety. Had a recent C&P for my shoulder, which I injured in basic training in 92. I've never really had a diagnosis until now. Was told back then I sprained it and it gave me trouble since. I didnt complain much about thinking it just goes with the job. As I'm getting older it's worse (join the club right) so I finally was told by the Doctor who did my C&P that she thought I might have a tear and something is definitely wrong so she sent me for an MRI. Just received the results and it states as follow…

Inactive Ready Reserve And Service-connection
Some soldiers joined the military and, for example, served 4 years on active duty and 4 years in the Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR). Basically, soldiers in the IRR do not get paid, do not attend reserve drills, but are subject to being called to active duty just like regular reservists. If a medical condition is diagnosed while a soldier is serving in the IRR, can they request service-connection of the condition?
