C & P Exam Report Does Not Address Dx'd Issues
Okay, so I was looking over the C & P report I got from records (again!) and something seems amiss. When I submitted the claim, I'd included a Statement in Support of Claim that mentioned that my right foot was dx'd with plantar faciitis, morton's neuroma, and DJD. I had a nexus from my podiatrist from when she dx'd the PF, and had signed the release of records for the RO to review my podiatry records. The podiatrist's notes clearly include the dx's I mentioned, and the latest ones include a mention that the conditions are due to my SC condition. …

Looking For A Court Case
I'm looking for the PONDS Court Case and can't find it. I think it has to do with a Chiropractor providing medical evidence on his own disability, thereby the evidence has to be weighed as probable & credible, versus lay evidence. All help is appreciated. carlie

What is the protocol if the AMC cannot grant a claim? Will the claim go back to the BVA and to the same judge? Is the claim still given expeditious actions?

ptsd Proposed Dsm V
Here's something interesting. The American Psychiatric Association has proposed a new edition to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). The VA uses DSM IV (see 38 CFR 4.125a)as the basis for the rating schedule. When DSM V is published it will change the rating schedule and how PTSD is diagnosed. These are merely the proposed changes. Proposed DSM V

hypertension Pissed
I received my claim for Diabetic Neuropathy yesterday, giving me 10% each for upper and lower extremities on my right side, but nothing on my left side ? How can these people test you, have a doctor give you a c/p for both sides, when the exam says I have it in both sides, and turn around and ignore my left side because I had a stroke on my left side. A stroke and neuropathy are two different animals..The second item is they completely ignored my claim for hypertension as secondary to my coronary disease. I think by not giving me 10% each for my left side, and ignoring my hypertension, allowed them to play games with their Chinese math, to keep me at 90%.
