ptsd Ptsd C&p Yesterday
Well, I had my PTSD C&P yesterday. It lasted all of 15 min; 20 max. It seemed he just went down the checklist that is on the VA website, scribbled a few things down and that was it. They did not even have my SRB or SMR at the office. I was completely honest and TRIED not to hold anything back. However, every time I tried to expand on what I went through he just cut me off and went on to the next item on the checklist. He did ask at the end if I had thought about getting treatment and attending group and/or individual therapy through the VA. I told him yes and that I thought this was the first step in getting help and where the nearest Vet center was. Gotta a…

Sorry For Being Gone ..... Having A Time With These Diseases
It is so encouraging seeing other veterans here winning their claims and getting the help they so deserve and need. I have been gone for a while trying to deal with the diseases and have been sick. I hope I am noticing more and more Vets here winning their claims than in the past. At least it looks llke it too me. Maybe the VA is actually starting to adjudicate properly .......I sure hope so. I have not heard anything from my lawyer or the VA on our Reconsideration at the VARO (DRO). My appeal is up in April and it has been a long time with no news at all, so just waiting for some kind of news , good or bad. I cannot get a handle on my diseases. I am suppose to do lung bi…

ptsd Dro Hearing
I have an upcoming DRO Hearing in January. It is for Social Anxiety increase of which I am rated 30%. I have spent the last 10 years navigating the VA system proving my stressors and combat service only to get rated 30% Social Anxiety and denied PTSD and depression of which I was originally diagnosed. This is after a hearing with a VA Law Judge at my VARO to verify my stessors and combat service 2 years ago. My C&P was less than thorough. The doctor only covered my job and school history. I have withdrawn from 3 different schools and have not worked in 5 years as I am currently receiving VA pension. Any advice from someone experienced in the DRO Hearing process? Shoul…
